Using a Subliminal and Does it Work?

It's my 16th birthday!!! I only came to school because I wanted to see Cross haha. My friends said that they were going to bring me gifts (another reason why I went to school) and I was thinking that if Cross saw my gifts or what not because they said they'd bring me balloons too, then Cross would say happy birthday to me but my friends forgot. Every single friend who had said they would give me something, didn't. None of them. Hopefully they'll bring me something tomorrow (not saying they have to but they said they would do something big on my birthday yet they didn't).

I walk into chemistry with my friend and our teacher thanks us for supporting her at the dance and my friend just had to tell her that I got hit by a bike and I start turning red and I'm embarrassed because some students heard. Like Cross. And I'm walking back to my seat all red and I'm sweating and it's just so gross but I can't take off my jacket because I'm insecure about my arm fat blah blah blah 🙄 so Cross stares at me and I stare back and he says "care to explain?" and I start fumbling with my words and I basically told him "well I was frustrated that [our teacher's name] lost because you didn't vote for her" and he cuts me off saying that he was busy and couldn't go so I ignored him and continued "and so there was this bike coming towards me and I move one way and he moved the same way and then I moved the another way and he hit me and started cussing me out. And yeah" and he just stares at me (what's new?) and says "ok" and then looks away and laughs to himself.

Then, our teacher was talking to us about how the sub reacted yesterday and how we just have to be nice to subs even if they can be mean.

So we're doing a lab tomorrow and it requires a soda can and so our teacher made us talk to our group to see who can bring one and Cross says he doesn't drink so (wow how healthy of him) and I said that I have sparkling water cans and he looks at me and asks "is it La Croix?" And I said "no I didn't drink rat poison."
