Chapter 17: Meeting Pt. 2

I process the boys rant and melt at the fact he thinks of his cats as his kids. So adorable.
For the next 2 minutes and 28 seconds, he shows me pictures of his cats on his phone - he seems to especially love dressing up Soonie.

I move onto Hyunjin after saying goodbye to Minho and immediate he takes my hand in his. I thought my hands were big - but then again I've never actually met Hwang Hyunjin before.

"How are you?"
He asks me as he finds his page to sign in the album.

"I'm great, how are you?"

"Tired"

His pronunciation is so on point I'm shook but I manage to somehow keep it together.

"You should rest more Hyunjin, all of you should!"

He blushes at my statement and looks at our hands.

"Thank you y/n"

"For what?"

"For caring about our group."

"I have and always will, even if I don't know you guys personally, I will always look up to you and want you to be happy and healthy"

He smiles softly at my words and grips my hands tighter.

There's a slightly aggressive cough from my right, and I see Felix glaring at the boy in front of me. I squeeze Hyunjin's hand and nod to Felix, trying to tell him that the Aussie is trying to get his attention.

When Hyunjin looks, Felix gives him another glare, before smiling innocently at me.
My stomach starts to flutter and I feel light.

Hyunjin looks back at me and grins.
"You might know us better than you think"
He gives me a not-so-subtle wink and practically shoved me in front of Felix.

His freckles are covered by make up and I can only see some faint ones just under his eyes.When Felix sees me looking at his cheeks, he takes his sleeve and goes to wipe the make up off his face.

I make a little noise and stop him before the jacket (that costs more than me on the black market) is covered in foundation. This boy really acting like a baby.

I take some tissues from my bag that I keep in case of emergencies, and at the same time I decide to take out my present for him. I hand him the tissues and I realize that we haven't actually spoken yet.

"Hello Felix I'm y/n."

He looks at me and smiles again as he wipes the makeup off his cheekbones.

"I know - I heard Chris saying it"

I laugh awkwardly.

He takes my right hand, sandwiching it in between his two.
"I really don't want you to feel awkward, so just talk to me like I'm your friend. Ok?"

I feel my whole face catch fire.

Felix continues to wipe the make up off until it's mostly gone and I can see the dark freckles decorating his cheekbones.
"I love your freckles"

"Really?" He looks at me "I did't think that most people did."

I hear another sound from my right. I look around and see Chris trying to get my attention. He stops waving his arms around and wiggles his eyebrows at me. Behind him, Jeongin does the same. Soon all 7 of the other boys are wiggling their eyebrows at me, until Felix turns to see what I'm looking at and they stop.

Felix turns to his page in my album and gets his marker to sign it. It takes a lot longer than when the others signed it, but I barely notice because Hyunjin and Seungmin are fighting about something over the top of Minho's head.
