Me, Tenya and C/n (child name) were all at the park with her friends and their parents. Me and Tenya we're sitting on a bench watching the 4 kids play hero's and villains. Of course c/n wanted to be a hero but the other kids called it first and she's never been one to wine over a game.
They were all about 4 and haven't developed their quirks yet but that doesn't stop them from having fun.
"I developed my quirk around this time." I commented.
"Yes I remember you telling me, she acts a lot like you I'm sure she's going to get your lighting quirk." He told me.
"She acts a lot like both of us, even though we are polar opposites." I added. We had her at a pretty young age but when we started dating kids have always been on the table.
3 older kids walked up to the group of soon to be kindergarteners.
They looked like they were in an agreement.
"That's yashamis older brother." I rolled my eyes.
Yashami was c/n's best friend and non of them really got alone with them.
"Should we intervene?" My husband asked.
"If it gets physical of course, but I think the two brothers just have something to work through." I told them.
The Yashami's older brother walked up to him and shoved his shoulder.
Before the 1st grader could land another shove there was a flash of yellow. Soon enough C/n and Yashami were about 10 meters away.
"Holy shit." I murmured standing up.
Does she have a combination of your quirks?!
"C/n? Everything okay?" I walked over to the pair.
"His older brother was being mean, and so I helped." My daughter told me.
"Looks like you have a quirk." I told her.
His parents got back from grabbing something from the car.
"Yashami and his brother got into a little argument, but looks like C/n handled it." I told them helping the two up.
"They're always fighting about something. Thanks for watching them I think we're gonna head home."
"Aw but we were playing hero's and villains! They can't play with 3 it's an uneven number!" Yashami wined.
"No we're gonna get home too, I'll see you guys next week though." I told them grabbing C/n's hand.
"Thanks for saving me c/n! And your quirk is super cool!" Yashami told my daughter.
"Thanks! But it's what hero's do!" C/n said proudly.
My husband was listening a meter away and I heard him sniff.
"Honey are you crying?" I asked.
"No, there's something in my eyes." He told me.
"Ahhuh." I said unconvinced.
The whole way home Tenya told C/n about never using her quirk for evil and ranting about how using a quirk for selfish reasons is unacceptable.
"Tenya, give her a break she just helped her friend." I put my hand on his thy.
"I know but I don't want her using it wrong. It looks very powerful." He told me.
"You're a hero how the hell could she use it for wrong?" I asked.
C/n giggled at my language.
"What have I told you about your language around c/n." He bickered.
"She goes to Yashami's house for play dates, have you heard his oldest sister when ever she opens her mouth trust me it's nothing she haven't heard before."
