"What do you want." Undyne's voice comes from a speaker by the door.

"IT'S PAPYRUS. (Y/N) WISHES TO SEE YOU." The door opens.

"Hi, punks. What did you want me for?" Undyne asks.

"Uh.. Just to say that I liked the spaghetti, I guess." I offer.

"YES! I WAS ALSO THINKING THAT SHE COULD WATCH OUR PRACTICE SESSION!" Papyrus adds excitedly. That wasn't planned, but ok. Undyne is deep in thought.

"Sure. It kind of works out, too. I was going to have you fight Shyren, but I was busy on a- Doing something. So I was going to cancel. But I trust that (Y/N) can hold her ground. She can supervise you." Undyne turns to me. "So basically, if he gets too hurt, patch him up a bit." I nod.

"Sure thing." I turn to Papyrus. "Let's go! I'm excited to see how well you can fight!"

"Here's a map." Undyne hands me a piece of paper with a basic description of the area. I study it for a second.

"Right. Papyrus, grab on!" He grips my arm, his skeletal fingers quivering in excitement. We arrive in an indigo hollow. The walls of the cave are grey, streaks of water going down them.

"SHYREN! I HAVE COME TO CHALLENGE YOU!" Papyrus shouts. A flower with battle armour on emerges from a nearby cave.

"Right. I won't go easy on you; It's been a while since I've enjoyed a battle!" Their voice is soft and melodic. Papyrus grins.

"ME, NEITHER! THE GREAT PAPYRUS SHALL CLAIM HIS FIRST VICTORY! NYEH, HEH HEH!" I chuckle at the tall skeleton's enthusiastic voice. Shyren smirks. They throw some pollen spores over to Papyrus. He dodges two of them, the other three hitting him in his arm. They make three equally spaced holes in the bone. Papyrus winces in pain. He woefully sends some bones to Shyren, holding his arm.

"Try, would you?" Shyren taunts.

"Papyrus, d'you-" I start.

"NEVER FEAR, (Y/N)! THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL BE FINE!" He stands up, forcing a smile onto his obviously pained face.

"If you're sure.." I say hesitantly. Shyren sends more pollen spores, mixing up the pattern. Papyrus dodges all but one. It hits him almost directly in the chest, burning a hole in his armour. Papyrus springs up, sending a mixed array of moving bones at the armoured flower. It dodges them gracefully. Papyrus, as a final attempt, shoots two blue bones. Shyren runs at them, preparing to jump. They extend unexpectedly, injuring them.

"Good.. Play!" Shyren sputters, their wounds leaking nectar. They shoot a swarm of pollen spores at Papyrus. He jumps over one, only to be pummeled in the skull by a dozen more. He crouches down, hissing in pain. More spores target his injured figure. I jump up, not wanting to see my friend hurt. I send a bone between the spores, teleporting the ones I didn't block away. Papyrus looks faint.

"Hey, Paps. you good?" I ask worriedly. He silently shakes his head.

"Hey! Don't intervene! I'm just starting to have fun!" Shyren smirks. They send a swarm of spores at us. I teleport them all away, using a fair bit of energy. They send more. Fed up with the situation, I summon a small Gaster Blaster, pointing it at Shyren. I prepare to launch some bones.

"Back off. Can't you see he's hurt?" I reprimand. Shyren smirks.

"It's all part of the battle." A determined look crosses their face. They send four pollen swarms at Papyrus and I. I fling the bones and launch the blaster, rendering them unconscious. The spores don't dissapate. I teleport a swarm away, deflecting one with a wall of bones. Papyrus tries to help, but his weak form isn't able to do much. I teleport another swarm away, feeling exhausted. Using my last bit of energy, I feebly summon a bone wall, deflecting the spores somewhat effectively. I take a heaving breath.

"..ARE YOU ..ALRIGHT, (Y/N)?" Papyrus struggles to speak. I rummage in my pockets for some healing items. I find a juice box of Sea Tea, and a Spider Donut.

"I'm fine. Take these. I can't teleport us yet, so just.. Try to be ok." I groan, panting. A flash of blue appears in my perferal vision. Sans rushes towards Papyrus.

"Paps! You good? Wha-" Sans looks at me, an expression of disbelief plastered onto his face.

"I.. I trusted you. How could you, (Y/N)!" He shouts, a trickle of blue rolling down his face.

"I didn't do this! Undyne sent me to supervise him!" I pant back.

"Yeah, right. You're exhausted, probably from using your magic to beat up my brother!" He spits. "And besides, you're the variable! This has never happened before!"

"No.. I swear!" I plead my case. Sans looks at me, disgusted.

"Quit lying.. You dirty brother killer.." He stands up, prepping to launch Gaster Blasters at me. I try to teleport away, but my exhaustion doesn't let me.

"Sans.. I didn't-" I cry. I can't stop the inevitable sobs that wrack my body. I really considered Sans a friend.. Guess I might've been wrong to. I curl into a ball, white engulfing my vision. A searing pain wracks my body. I cry out. As expected, no one answers.

A rush of faith passes through my body. I have to stay hopeful.. I have to believe that I can. I can persevere. I survived abuse, torment, and death. This is nothing. With the energy I regain, I teleport to a random location, the white from my vision slowly fading.

I land on a barren wasteland, in front of a white building.. I collapse, seeing stars.

A/N: I was gone for so long, so I put my all into this chapter for you guys! (Yes, this is my all. And yes, it sucks dong.) Tell me what you want to happen, because I've got no clue if my belief is normal.

SPOILERS AHEAD! ONLY READ IF YOU"RE COOL WITH THAT!

So.. I was thinking that I would make (Y/N) really mad at Sans, and he would be being all cute and stuff trying to win her back. Because I just HATE it when the MC forgives the love interest when they do something horrible.

But.. My opinion doesn't matter. If you guys want something different, NOW IS THE TIME TO TELL ME!! I'll be writing the next chapter later today. So.. Bye, I suppose.
