17. Escape

"You're really sick (Y/N)! And none of us can help you but maybe they can!"

"I-"

I was about to argue back when the man sighed,

"Ah! Young love. Well lover boy, your girl over there might have sun stroke. Don't know what you can do for her besides give her some water- which we are low on."

Newt clenched his teeth as his ropes twisted,

I shook my head at him opening his mouth and this time he listened to me.

The man gave me one last glance and turned back to Thomas,

The man was about to reply when-

"Jorge... what's going on?"

Another man, the one that grabbed me earlier came through the dark passageway.

He looked at all of us, then back to the man I supposed was Jorge.

"Me and my new friends were just getting acquainted."

The man still looked at us a little suspiciously then turned to Jorge.

They started walking away-

"Wait wait you're not gonna help us?"

Thomas asked,

Jorge turned back to Thomas with a grin,

"Dont worry hermano, we'll get you back where you belong."

And with that he followed the other man out the room.

"How you feeling (Y/N)?"

Fry asked,

I sighed and attempted to reach the ropes around my ankles before flipping back down-

That just made me feel worse,

"Great... just great."

I huffed as I took in more deep breaths.

"... I have an idea."

Minho said,

"COME ON MINHO!"

I growled as I reached for the pulleys railing.

Minho who was closest to me, had his hands on my hips,

The other boys were all behind Minho, Teresa was just to the side of me.

"Try again-"

Thomas said,

"GO!"

Minho yelled as Newt, Fry, Thomas and Aris all gave Minho a shove who shoved me towards the railing-

My fingers brushed the cold metal

"DAMN!"

I yelled,

I rubbed my hands over my face and tried to not become more nauseous as I swayed a little

"I'm sorry (Y/N) you know I would let them push me if I was closer."

Teresa said, I nodded before shaking my hands off my face,

"Ok Minho again-"

"You sure?"

"Yeah..."

I said, as once again Minho grabbed my hips the boys filling in behind him,

"3! 2! 1!"

The boys gave a hard shove and Minho was flung forward-

At the last second he pushed me so hard my hands finally were able to grab the metal railing.

Everyone sighed in relief as I pulled the lever to lower myself to the ground a little,

I managed to start undoing the ropes around my ankles,

I stood, using the railing as my balance as I steadied myself on my feet,

Hanging upside down and feeling sick are not good combinations.

I managed to get Teresa down, soon followed by Minho who helped me untie the others,

I grabbed Newts rope and pulled him into the concrete.

With his help we took the rope off and he scooped me up into a quick hug,

"(Y/N) you're a bloody shank you know that!"

I know he was referring to me stopping him from asking for help, for me.

I hugged him tighter,

"Yeah I know but you wouldn't have me any other way."

He chuckled a little and gave me a kiss that sent shivers down my spin and left my lips tingling when he pulled away.

"Alright guys let's get out of-"

That's when we heard it,

"Good evening, this is the World In Catastraphy Kill-zone Experiment Department. We have come to collect our subjects, please hand them over and there will be no need for violence."

We all looked at each other before Fry sighed,

"Oh shit."

A/N: I know this chapter isn't exactly how it went in the movies but 🤷‍♀️
