Ember often teased Y/n that Lewis had an eye for her but Y/n always playfully declined and changed the topic of the conversation. Ember knew that they had a huge crush on each other and she was planning to play matchmaker.
Ever since they got here in Cabo, Ember noticed that Lewis couldn't stop starring at Y/n.
Back to the deck chairs where Y/n and Ember were relaxing, the boys were whispering on the other side of the pool that the villa had.
"Lewis you go for it otherwise I will tell her" Miles suddenly scolded his Lewis. He knew his friend had an eye for his sister and he frankly didn't mind. Even if he was a ladies man, he trusted him with his sister.
"Miles please don't, I want to be ready when I talk to her" Lewis pleaded as his friends laughed very loud making Ember and Y/n look over them which resulted in a wink from Miles to Ember indicating they were starting their plan.
"Hey Y/n do you mind fetching water for the two of us ?" poor Y/n didn't know what was going on nodded and went to do what she asked. On the other side, Miles had asked Lewis for beers and he reluctantly went too.
As soon as Lewis approached the kitchen, the sight in front of him left him speechless. He stopped right there.
Y/n on the tip of her toes struggling to catch the jar so she could fill it with water. In her bathing suit looking tempting as ever. The white shirt that she was using as a coverup was slowly riding up showing a lot more than she intended.
Lewis couldn't stop his eyes wander down her smooth legs, he approached her and reached for the jar behind her and helped to reach the object which startled her and she quickly turned around to find a smiling Lewis.
"Sweet lord, you scarred me" he chuckled lowly making her blush madly.
"I saw you having some trouble reaching for that so I thought I could help" she looked down because she was embarrassed but nodded thanking him.
"Thanks, Lewis you didn't have to" Lewis couldn't get over the fact that she was so humble and thought she was cute being shy like that.
After a long pause, each one of them did what they had to do in the kitchen and before Lewis got out of the kitchen he turned to Y/n and with a beaming smile he winked at her rather flirty.
"By the way, it's cool your here Y/n, I'm happy you came"
That made her jump in happiness, her crush Lewis, actually acknowledged her presence. She was ecstatic and still blushing.
When she joined Ember with the water, she told her everything and Ember expected more like a kiss but knew the plan was starting to work.
Later that night everyone was having dinner together outside, Lewis and Y/n couldn't stop starring at each other and by the end of eating they were left alone, purposely.
Which once Lewis understood what was happening made him chuckle.
"You know they're playing matchmakers with the both of us" which made Y/n eyes widened.
"And I honestly don't mind at all" with that Lewis got up and took Y/n's hands gesturing her to follow him down to the private beach. She walked behind him closely admiring his muscled back.
The beach looked good as usual for Y/n and lewis had set a small blanket with a bottle of champagne rosé and two glasses.
They both sat looking at the water, acknowledging their surroundings until Lewis finally made the first move.
"To be honest Y/n I'm going to be straight and tell you that I've had a massive crush on you for so long now and I want to date you"
Y/n being the introvert she was, blushed and just leaned into his embrace looking up and showing him that she too felt the same for him.
So they drank the bottle, enjoying the environment around them and soaking up every moment together. They talked about all and everything and decided they'd go out together tomorrow.
Turns out that the matchmaking that Ember and Miles had done worked quite well, to say the least. Lewis and Y/n were the perfect match.
Ever since that trip to San Lucas in Mexico, they have been on many dates and Y/n often joined Lewis during race weekends and they were going very soon to be moving together.
A new chapter was starting in their lives and they both were excited to see what the future held for them.
