Firey couldn't sleep easily that night. After he had mined some minerals and stored them, he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. His mind was buried of thoughts, about the sudden events earlier. He went out, to stargaze. It was a hobby of him to go outside and gaze at the stars when he couldn't sleep. Sometimes, he'd end up falling asleep on the grass, or he'd have enough energy to go back in the cave. He would count the stars, and name constellations. He would look at the moon, and gaze at it. It.. it was weird, to him, that he never burnt the field at the end of the mountains every time he woke up.

The stars shone tonight, as the full moon brightened the very dark sky. The stars looked.. different from this view. He remembered not seeing so many stars back then at yoyleland, and at the town of Goiky. The lamps outshone the moon, and the stars. There were barely anything to see in the sky, but here.. in the forest, by the hills, near  the mountains, he thought it was..

"Breathtaking.."

He held his hands together, and prayed for a wish. He hoped to see it again, while he was awake. Something that could change the world, just a simple wish.

A few hours had passed, and Firey slept quietly. A figure sat down by his side. They looked at him, silently. They placed a flower, a lotus, specifically, by the sleeping flame's side. The figure kneeled near him, whispered something to him, even though he might've never heard it. The figure stood, and left the flame alone.

Firey paced forward and backward, as he stood in front of the stand full of ancient yoyleland items. The pot looked like it was from his mother, and he wanted to have it. Though he couldn't be so sure. He was certain, however that that was the plant his mother held back then. Even if he wasn't so sure, he would atleast want to know how to grow a plant.

The merchant watched Firey pace in front of his store. Though not a lot had bought from him, he was annoyed to see Firey being like this, when he probably scared off customers already. "Ey, kid! Are ye buyin' or nah!?" Firey jumped when he heard the merchant say it. He shook his head, and made up his mind. "I want to buy that pot." Said Firey, as he pointed to the pot carved of dragons.

The merchant lifted the said pot, showing it to him. "Ah yes, this is a very very powerful pot. It magically survived the flames of Yoyleland 5 years ago, and was still living."

  "How much is it?"

"Well, it's just a lousy plant so I would give it to you for 6 silvers."

"Six silvers? I'll take it." Firey handed the merchant the money, as the merchant gave him the pot. He quickly ran off out of the town, and into the mountains. The merchant scratched his head, upon remembering something important.

"Ah. I forgot to tell him about the pot's curse."

Firey looked straight at the plant, it gleamed of green and reflected light. He doesn't know the basics of having a plant, but it was nice to have a living organism next to him. He sat next to the plant, distancing himself as to not burn it. There was nothing to do today, and he figured he could just start blacksmithing tomorrow.

As the time flies, Firey realised that the plant needed water. And he couldn't get water, because he would get hurt. Though he tried to get some water, since his hands wasn't affected by it.

He set the pot next to him by the pond, as he scooped up some water and sprinkled it atop of the plant. He expected the plant to absorb it, but instead the water flew down to the soil, and soil absorbed it. Firey was, well, pissed. He was angry that the water he had give didn't go to the plant. Instead, some weird soil thing absorbed it instead. He tried and tried, until he stopped. The soil kept getting the water, and he couldn't stop it.

Firey spent his time figuring out what the plant needed, until the sun had set. He brought it back inside the cave, and put it in a safe place where it couldn't break. Firey figured that maybe he'd just rest for a little while, and later wake up to do some blacksmithing.

He rested, in his rocky 'bed' and slept. This time, peacefully. He didn't want to go outside anymore, as there was already comfort in the once cold, lonely cave.

Firey woke up with energy in his body. He was happy, and energetic for once. He started off his day by checking the pot but, what had happened, was it was gone. He calmed himself down, and looked for it around. It wasn't in the forest, nor by the fields. None. Inside his cave? It was nowhere to be found. Then a rustling echo was heard from the cove. Maybe a robber was inside his cave, and somebody found him? Why haven't they told the officials about him? He neared down to the cove, taking small silent steps as the rustling grew more and more. It came from the main cart he uses to carry the minerals.

And there, by the distance, he saw. It wasn't what he had thought, a robber, but else, an object, a plant, to be in this place.  He looked at her eyes, and it did not seek of greed. However it carried proudness, rejoice, and care. The object held the minerals gently the light reflecting from them hitting her eyes, as if her eyes sparkled. Yet, her hands stopped, as she lifted up and looked at his eyes. She wasn't mortified, or scared, but rather glad.

"Hello." Said the object.

Firey thought the diamonds were just reflecting light on the object's eyes, but when she looked at him, when there were no diamonds behind him or infront of him. Their eyes shone more. He.. he was stunned at the object, smiling and handling minerals of uttermost care. Firey felt as if he couldn't think of what to say next, as he was frozen. But his mind just said what it thought of.

"Your eyes are very pretty."

The object looked at him, and laughed. They blushed, and kept smiling back. "You sure are a total romantic, aren't you?"
