Alpha and Omega - Loki x Reader

"Oh, you shall see lady Natasha, you shall see. I must go now; I have something to do. My apologises for your pain my lady, but you have my word that it will be elevated when I return from Asgard."

I looked up at him through my tears. "But Thor I don't want you to go, especially at the moment. How long will you be gone?" My tightly clenched jaw was making it hard to speak as the scent became overpowering again.

"Don't worry little one, I will be gone for only a short time and I will bring back the solution to your problem." With that Thor departed leaving me in the arms of Natasha gently stroking away the tears from my face.

"Oh, my little Omega, I don't know who has you worked up so much, but you have got it bad." She smiled down at me as I finally felt the pain subside a little now that Thor has taken the scent with him.

I tried to sit up. "Natasha, that hurt so much, I just wanted to jump on Thor to get closer to the scent." I looked down at the floor where my slick has settled and look at her in embarrassment.

"It's ok (Y/n), it is natural for an Omega, there is no need to be embarrassed, it's your natural instinct taking over. Though we should get you cleaned up, we will have every Alpha coming from miles around once they catch your scent."

She kissed my head. "You do smell quite luscious my little Omega." She smirked as she helped me up from the floor.

"Oh, Natasha, you know you'll always be my favourite Alpha." We laughed together as she helped me to my room.

After cleaning myself up, I locked my bedroom door and slipped under the cool sheets of my bed. I tried to sleep but it was impossible, the heat was still overwhelming, and my mind was constantly filled with the thoughts of that scent; ebony, leather and old books. It was the same smell as my favourite place in the tower, the library. Tony had filled it with volumes of old books and first editions, the feel of the old pages between my fingers always made me feel happy and warm as the words on the paper made my mind drift off to distant lands and other worlds. When not on missions or training I could always be found in my favourite chair reading some dusty tome, drinking tea and humming away to myself quite contentedly. And that was what the scent reminded me of; being warm, protected, safe and happy.

As my mind wandered there was a knock at my door. "(Y/n), are you there? It's me Bucky."

I sighed heavily. "I'm here Buck, what's wrong?"

"Natasha told me what happened, and I've come to see if I can help our little Omega. I know it hurts doll. If you let me in, I can take care of things for you."

I growled slightly to myself, who else has Natasha told I thought.

"It's ok Buck, I'm fine, thank you for the offer though it's very sweet." It was then I heard a deep growl from the other side of the door as another voice spoke.

"Baby doll, it's Steve, are you ok? Let me in, I just want to talk to you!" I knew that talking was the last thing that either Steve or Bucky wanted to do.

"Steve, I just want to sleep. I'm ok really. I'll talk to you in the morning when I feel better."

Steve then changed to his best Captain America voice. "Omega! Let me in! I can smell you from outside the building. If you let me in, Cap will make you feel better."

I stuck a pillow over my head and screamed, I loved my super soldiers, but all this was getting too much. At that moment I just wanted to be bonded with an Alpha so that all this would stop. Then I heard the argument.

"I was here first punk, if anyone is going to help her it's going to be me!" Bucky shouted.

"In your dreams jerk, I'm the superior officer here. It's only right that (Y/n) would pick me." Then there was a series of grunts and growls as I listened to the two soldiers fight outside my door. It was then I'd had enough; despite the pain I was still in I got up and made my way to the door, without opening it I screamed.
