What will it take to make you see me?
I'd like to know if you even care
Do I have to almost die?
For you to even be there
I can't live in pain anymore
But that's all you seem to see
Otherwise you brush it off like I'm not there
And act like you don't see me
I have to starve to get your attention
After a while it sets into a new routine
I've turned into a starving, half-heartless person
The person that at times is called mean
You walk around talking about yourself
About the horrors included in your day
Meanwhile you boss me around like a slave
Not seeming to see the person I was fade away
I've turned into a new person
Heart and mind as dark as night
Cold as winter, untrusting and angry
Altogether a completely different sight
You left me alone, never let me speak
The person I've become you are to blame
Little love inside this heart of stone
Because of you I'm scared, no longer sane
