He then grabbed my face kissing me hard. This was the first kiss we shared in four years. It felt just like the first time, making my heart flutter, and my stomach swirl. I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him closer to me. Our kiss intensified to a point where I just wanted to strip and let him have his way with me in the backseat, but my mind spoke for me.

"We should stop. You have a girlfriend." I mumbled against his lips. He looked at me, pulling away. He took out his phone and called someone. He walked away to talk for a minute before walking back over to me.

"She's gone. I want you and Princess in my life Mani." I looked at him softly.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive." He said. I smiled softly and kissed him again. When it started to get late, we headed back to the Martinez house to get Princess. I talked to everyone briefly before heading back to Oscar's car.

"I'm driving you home this time." He said. I looked at him.

"You can't."

"Why can't I?" He asked. I chewed my lip.

"Because I live in a Prophet neighborhood. So that wouldn't be a good idea for you."

"Why you ain't tell me that before?"

"I've never told anyone except-"

"Mario right?"

"Yeah." I looked at him.

"Of course." He said starting up the car.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"Nothing, where am I taking you?" I gave him directions as to where it was safe enough to leave me. He stopped the car and looked at me.

"You really broke up with Isabella?" I asked him. He nodded.

"She should be gone by the time I get home." I nodded softly.

"I'll stop by with Princess in the morning before school then." I told him. He nodded and pressed his lips against mine. I hummed and relaxed in the kiss. When I pulled away, I smiled at him.

"Good night Oscar."

"Goodnight Imani." I got out the car and took the sleeping Princess with me. I walked up the couple of blocks to my house. I walked inside and was greeted by my brother.

"Hey sis. Where you been at?" He asked.

"Minding my business Latrelle, you should learn how to do that." I walked over to my room and unlocked the door. I closed it behind me then put her down in the bed. I took off her shoes and her sweater before tucking her in. I then sat by the window and FaceTimed Mario.

"Finally, I've been waiting all day for you to call." He said after he picked up. I snorted and shook my head.

"You're so damn dramatic." I chuckled softly.

"Yeah Yeah How was your day?" He asked. I started telling him how everything went. He laughed as I told him about my encounter with Isabella this morning.
