"Well, c'mon we can make it together... pancakes?" I said with a smile. He grinned at me and nodded.
We were almost done with the food when I was getting bored of waiting so naturally, I had to make my own fun since Adrian was busy cooking. I walked over to him with a mischievous glint in my eyes, I wrapped my arms around his waist resting my head against his back.
"Bored?" He asked a slight chuckle soon followed when I nodded. I pulled a hand back and placed it in my pocket where I pulled out my weapon of choice... an egg. Without warning I crushed it against his head the slimy liquid got stuck in between my fingers as I rubbed it into his hair. I was laughing loudly as I began to run away from him.
"Oh, you did not just do that," He said turning the gas off, he grabbed a handful of pancake batter and began chasing me. "You've picked a fight with the wrong person Bug." He said evilly as he caught hold of my wrist. I pulled my arm back as hard as I could, and I managed to escape before he could get me with the batter. I squealed as he tossed it as me, the sticky batter collided with my back with an impressive amount of force causing bits to fly off in different directions including my hair. That was it... this means war. I quickly grabbed some more ammo and ducked behind the counter.
"Prepare to die Jones." I laughed out as I popped my head up to see him standing in range. I threw another egg it collided with his chest and splattered all down his torso. I was too busy laughing to notice he too had eggs... the egg collided with the back of my head knotting its slimy self into my hair. Now it was his turn to laugh. I hit him with another egg in his brief moment of distraction.
"Oh, Scarlett my love would you like a hug?" he asked grinning like a maniac. My face dropped as he advanced on me.
"Don't you dare Adrian." I said seriously, Adrian being Adrian just continued towards me. I was trapped between the Island and the wall. I mean I could dive into the living room, but I don't think I'd make it without injuring myself. I slowly backed away from him before I made a split-second decision to dash to the left and into the living room.
I made it!
I inwardly cheered but that moment of joy was short-lived as Adrian came barrelling towards me too quickly for me to get away. His arms surrounded me pulling me flush against him. The egg that was still stuck to him soon transferred to me. I screeched as the cool liquid melted into my back. We were laughing too hard to hear the front door open. Adrian's parents walked in and saw the state we were in. Kyle laughed at Adrian. He had eggshells crushed into his hair and the remainder of the flour I threw at him clung to the egg.
"Adrian attacked me!" I yelled with a large grin. Adrian scoffed as he lifted the eggshells from his head, the contents of the egg still dripped from them. Then the little shit smeared them all in my hair.
"That's what you get for lying," he laughed as he let me go and dashed towards the stairs. "Oh, and dibs on the bathroom." He said as he ran up the stairs, I stood there shocked. That motherfu-
"I see you two have been having fun while we've been gone." Emma said as she took in the state of the room. I smiled sheepishly.
"We'll clean up." I said as she laughed shaking her head.
"You can use the bathroom in my room." Emma smiled as she placed her bags down.
"Thanks," I smiled and made my way towards the stairs. "Oh, and sorry about the mess," I said before making my exit. I pushed open Adrian's door and walked into his room. I was looking around for my bag. I spotted it and grabbed it before turning to leave. Just as I did Adrian stepped out of the bathroom, his towel hung loosely around his waist and the water beads were slowly making its way down his body I bit my lip and looked away I stood quickly making my exit.
Once we had both cleaned ourselves, we headed downstairs to clean the kitchen. Upon walking to the kitchen Adrian playfully shoved me, I pushed him back and this went on until we got to the kitchen.
"You're a child you know that." I huffed playfully.
"Let's remind ourselves who started that little food fight in the kitchen earlier." He said smiling at me.
The rest of the day flew past us, I was in a good- no great mood and I had a feeling it was going to stay that way.
