Today was the day. Or so you tell yourself. You've been feeling giddear each passing day, excited for your wedding, so excited that it worried Sanemi and Koichi at times.
You've been so out of it lately. You've been imagining the wedding a lot, the feeling of finally being with the love of your life once and for all, being tied by the gods with your friends and family to witness...
You sigh with a smile and Kanagi noticed the love-filled smile of yours. "(Y/N)-chan." She called but you weren't paying attention. "(Y/N)-chan~" There was no response again, but KAnagi let you be. She also remembered her wedding day and how excited she felt, she was not going to ruin that feeling for you.
"Ah, young love." She sighs, going upstairs and checking the dress she finished a few days ago. "Perfect! (Y/N)-chan is going to be most beautiful looking bride in the century!" She squealed, walking back downstairs only to see three people she did not recognize on the door, talking with you. "Oh, welcome! How may I help you!"
"Ah, Kanagi-san, let me introduce you to my friends." You said, gesturing to the three girls who weren't wearing their demon slayer uniform. "This is Kanroji Mitsuri. Ad these are Kocho Kanae and Shinobu. They're sisters."
"Nice to meet you everyone!" Kanagai greeted with a smile. She leads them inside, letting them sit on the sofa and you serve them drinks. "What brings you girls here?"
"Oh, we just wanted to visit (Y/N)-chan!" Kanae said with a smile, the other two nodding along with her. "Since her wedding is tomorrow and all."
You tripped and fell. "WHAT!? TOMORROW?!" You exclaimed, struggling to get up. "It's until next week!"
The four of them gave you a look filled with concern and confusion. "(Y/N)-san, today is thirteen." Shinobu announced and that was when you felt everything came crashing down on you like waves.
"OH MY GOD! It's tomorrow." You said as you face paled. You gripped your hair, feeling all kinds of anxiety attacking you and they immediately came rushing to your side, trying to calm you down as you kept chanting 'It's tomorrow'.
"Calm down, (Y/N)-chan." Kanagi said, rubbing circles in your back. "I know you're nervous, but please try to breath properly first." You did as she told and they helped you up, sitting you on the couch as you began to tremble, muttering the words 'Wedding is tomorrow' over and over again.
"Okay... (Y/N)-chan?" Mitsrui waved her hand in front of you but you didn't respond. She did it again but there was no response. "Oh dear... Iguro-san and the other guys are already taking care of Shinazugawa-san at their home... and we were in charge of (Y/N)-chan..." She sighs, looking at your still shocked face. "Looks like it'll be harder..."
"Don't worry about it, Kanroji-san." Kanagi said, pulling you up your feet. "Why don't we take advantage of this and make her try out her uchikake!" At the mention of the dress, everyone had a smile on, although Shinobu's was just a little twitch and they followed her upstairs.
"Here we are." The moment Kanagi opened the door. The girls' eyes sparkled as they stared at the dress. It wasn't the traditional red uchikake, this one was white and had a few flower prints all over instead of the cranes of such. "So, what do you all think? Took me quite a while, but it was worth it!"
