After coming up with a plan, Alastor and Charlie decided to boost the hotel's advertisement. Meaning each section of the hotel needed improvement. Alastor and Charlie made meetings with eveyeone, some meetings with Charlie, and the others with Alastor.

Angel Dust had a meeting with Alastor for entertainment purposes. He sat in the chair in front of Al's desk, discussing how he could improve entertainment.

"Maybe I could do a little... show?~" Angel asked. Even if things were weird between them, Angel was still himself.

Alastor rolled his radio eyes, annoyed by the spider's request.

"You truly disgust me somedays, Angel,"

Angel glared at the radio demon, a fake smile forever plastered on the deer's face.

"Gee thanks, shorty,"

Alastor glared back. "I am merely an inch-"

"3 inches," Angel corrected.

"Shorter...." through gritted teeth, Alastor continued. It took him a few minutes to realize Angel wore his hair differently, covering his natural abyss of an eye.

This confused Al, and with the little goodness inside him pushed him to ask,

"Why ate you wearing your hair like that?"

Angel blinked, Alastor could immediately tell something was the matter.

"Well uh... just tryin' somethin' different, ya know?" The spider flashed a grin at the radio demon, not terribly convincing.

Alastor rolled his radio like eyes. "Lying to me won't work, Dust. Now, fix your hair and tell me what is the matter for the sake of this hotel!"

Alastor didn't really care that much about the hotel. He knew it made his friends happy, and he was more concerned about the friend who avoided him the most.

Angel groaned in response, moving his messy bangs from his eyes to reveal purple and blue colors swelling around his eye. Alastor gasped and reached for his eye, quickly pulling his hand back.

    The spider shook his head.

"Dear, what happened?" The deer demon asked, a genuine look of concern in his eyes. Angel pulled his bangs back over, a soft frown playing on his lips.

The spider sighed heavily, rolling his eyes. "It..it's really nothin'. Boss just got mad at my other job is all.."

They sat in silence for a while, Angel Dust sighing and starting to get up.

"Where are you going?" Alastor asked. Angel turned to face him, hesitantly sitting back down.

"I just thought you... you don't really like talking to me-" Alastor held up a finger, shaking his head.

"Simply dear, this won't do. You believe I dont enjoy your company?" Angel nodded slowly.

Alastor clicked his tongue and sighed. "Look, Angel, you can be... a nuisance, and quite frankly annoying, however I don't mind your company. You're the only demon that gets me flustered and.."

He choked on the last few words. "Well.. can embarrass me somehow. I don't know how you do it, you just do.  I'm hard on you because you're childish and frankly... not what I'm use to,"

Alastor smiled awkwardly, though his smile never seemed to leave. Angel smiled back, taking what he.. believed was a compliment?

Alastor stood up slowly, causing a look of confusion on the spider in the chair.

   "Umm...what're ya doin'  there, Al?"

Alastor chucked and wiped off his hands. "A demon has hurt a member of our business, and it just won't do! I'm going to teach this boss  a lesson, boss to boss!"

With that, the radio demon was gone.

Angel Dust roamed the halls of the hotel. Alastor hadn't been back for hours, and frankly he was worried.

Alastor never seemed to care about Angel, at least not openly. So why start now? Especially since things were awkward between them?

Angel knew this wouldn't end well. One of his bosses was going to punish him, whether it be Alastor finding out the truth or...

The spider shook his head. No, don't go there. Angel knew he had too many thoughts at the moment.

He found himself in his room and lay in bed, his pig waddling over and lying on his chest. He smiled and hugged the pig before falling asleep, his last thoughts of Alastor leaving.

I turned and looked around, everything was black. I ran towards what I thought was forward, at least I hoped. Instead, I fell as if I has missed some steps on a staircase. I rubbed my hands, lifting them ti my vision.

Scrapes from what felt like concrete were on them, like small streaks of red. I clutched my fists and felt warm tears fall dow my eyes. I heard a laugh and looked up.

"You're pathetic, Martin. Learn to grow up a little," the voice said.

I ooked at my hands once again, instead of white fur they were a pale peach. The scratches remaining, however.

Blood dripped onto the floor, I touched my face and realized my nose and mouth was bleeding. Once again I looked up at the voice, a devious smile and pair of eyes looking back at me.

   "NO!!"

    "NO!!!!"
