27. Please Newt...Please...

"...you're sick..."

Teresa mumbled towards Newt and thomas and I who were leading the two almost stumbled,

"Thomas I can help him just give me time-"

Newt harshly grabbed the back of Teresa's jacket and kept pushing her forward,

"Just ignore her shes trying to get in your head-"

"No thomas listen we may have found a cure just come with me!"

Thomas turned at a glass door ripping off his helmet,

"How many more have to die huh? How many more innocent people have to suffer? How long till it all stops?"

Teresa looked offended,

"It stops when we find a cure-"

"There is no god damn cure!"

Thomas yelled at her,

"Save your breath Teresa."

Janson called as he rounded the corner, his gun raised,

"He made his choice long ago..."

We all turned to face Janson,

"DROP YOUR WEAPONS!"

Some WICKED guards came running around the corner, all raising their guns at us,

Seeing the guards Thomas grabbed Teresa,

Holding her to his chest and his gun pointed at her head,

"BACK UP! TELL EM TO BACK OFF OR ILL SHOOT!"

He yelled at Janson,

"Hey, come on Thomas it's me, as long as I've known you I know your not going to shoot her."

"Yeah but I will-"

I shoved thomas out the way, grabbing teresa and shoving the gun right under her chin,

Janson flinched and the guards moved closer,

"BACK OFF OR I SWEAR TO GOD I PUT THIS TRAITOR DOWN RIGHT HERE!"

I yelled, trying to scare them off and have a good enough reason to out a bullet in this girls head,

No one breathed, even Janson looked like he was weighing his options,

Thne Teresa elbowed me in the gut and I doubled over,

She shoved me into the room with Newt and Thomas and shut the door,

Bullets ricocheted off the bullet-proof glass and I yanked off my mask same as Newt dropping it on the floor,

I sent her a glare and followed after the two boys,

Now the three of us, without our masks were wondering around the hallways,

We ran from the guards shooting over our shoulders and that's when I noticed--

Above it, I stopped following Newt and Thomas who continued to sprint down the hallway,

Good they didnt notice me as I slipped into the room,

"...Teresa?"

I raised my gun, it was only Teresa all by her self,

She stopped what she was doing to look at me,

"What are you still doing here?"
