Adopted by Flamingo (Albert) + Kirsten

-we're gonna do a time skip-

Today was the day. Today was the day that I had been so excited for, Playlist Live.

I was so nervous but excited, I was actually going somewhere, like to a convention, and with my parents too, like we're going to PLAYLIST! (I know this past year was a disaster wit all the tiktokers but you don't know about it yettt)

Dad wanted to introduce me to his audience so it wasn't a huge surprise when a ton of fans saw me tagging along. We had filmed the video last night, me and him playing Roblox games together. I wasn't camera shy, but it was really weird that I was making a video with Albert. It was really fun, we played Piggy, Murder Mystery, and a couple other games.

At the end, Albert wanted me to come into his room, and so a face reveal thingy. It was kinda weird but interesting at the same time, because I was so happy and excited.

But, today was scary once I had seen how many people were going to show up. Yes I had been excited for he first 5 minutes I've been awake, but this is different. I was going to meet some of my dads friends, which I had also looked up to, and that was terrifying.

I had just recently warmed up to Mom and Dads parents, all four of them were super nice, but it was hard to get used to someone you don't see all the time.

Interrupting my thoughts were my phone notifications. I looked at my bedside table and saw that it was 7:30 AM. What do people want from me, and I don't even have friends so how does that even work?

I flipped over my phone to see I had over 99+ YouTube notifications, and almost 200 twitter notifications. I had no idea why, until I had looked and saw what they were all saying, but apparently Albert had been tweeting about how he and Kirsten have a plus one at Playlist this time.

I was looking at the thread and saw everyone thinking it was Jake or Kaden, but dad had later confirmed it being me, with tagging me in that twitter thread. All the notifications were follows and people asking me if I was Albert and Kirsten's new kid. They had all asked it on my newest post, which was from a week ago it just being, ":)"

I was really happy, and still am, just in shock about what has all happened in the past month.

I laughed as I looked through all the comments on the tweet, some of them asking that question over and over, but others being normal Albert fan base things.

"Flam go"

"You know flam flim"

"Is Albert mayo or ketchup would you say"

I couldn't stop laughing when I read the last one. Then I remembered that mom and dad probably sleep till noon, so I immediately shut my mouth.

I got up from bed, and grabbed my suitcase that I had forever, and brought from the orphanage. I zipped it open and went over to my closet, which was pretty empty by the way, the closet was huge and something I wasn't used to.

I grabbed all of the essentials, and thew them in my bag, walking over to my bathroom, grabbing the stuff I needed from there. Walking back I noticed I got a text message, my phone had made a different sound. I walked over to it and saw a message saying,

"Hey Y/N! It's uncle Jake!" I didn't even finish reading r text when I started basically bouncing off the walls with excitement. I then took a deep breath, then continued reading.

"Albert gave me your phone number so I could text you and check on you. Just wanted to let you know I need content and it would be so much fun to film a video with you whenever you feel like it."

I had to take another deep breath and calm down, just so I didn't scream. After I had calmed down a bit, and realized it was kinda weird for me to be freaking out about basically my uncle just texting me, letting me know that he has my number.

I quickly saved his number and then started to answer saying, "hi uncle jake!   thank you for checking up on me, im doing ok, i woke up to 99+ twitter notifications so im still in shock and can't believe i have an actual home now."

I set my phone back down, and got back to packing, organizing everything, and then realized I needed to grab my little makeup bag with only blush, mascara, foundation, and hilighter.

Sitting back down, I realized that I had forgotten something, I needed to pack my laptop.

Mom and dad were so generous and bought me a MacBook and a mac computer, I had told them my interest in streaming and YouTube, and they immediately took me out to Best Buy to get recording stuff.  (If ya wanna know the type of stuff, just search up razer pink quartz collection)

I still feel like that wasn't real.

I also grabbed the charger because I would probably forget. While I was over at my desk, I grabbed my mini portable charger that I would keep in my backpack, walking around the halls.

I walked back into my closet, to pick out an outfit for the day. I picked up an Ariana Grande sweatshirt (if ya don't stan Ari like me than like someone you do stan boo) that was grey and said, "no tears left to cry" upside down, because of the sweetener aesthetic. I also grabbed normal black yoga pants.

Going to get changed in the bathroom I heard soft footsteps going downstairs. Then I heard "Hi Peachhh! Hi Rockyy!!" It was Albert feeding and letting the dogs outside.

I smiled and then opened the bathroom door and got changed.

Coming out of the bathroom I heard Kirsten yelling at something, possibly one of the dogs. I went down the stairs, and was greeted by a slightly pissed Kirsten.

"Oh hi sweetie, sorry if I woke you."

"No, no I woke up about an hour ago, and I'm so excited to go to playlist, I couldn't sleep."

She looked up and smiled. "Yeah. I'm so excited for you." She continued cleaning something off of the floor. "I love that Ariana sweatshirt on you."

"Awww thanks mom, it's one of my favorites."

"Oh and also would you mind helping me and your dad around the house today? We need your help with vacuuming."

"Yeah sure, can I eat my pop tarts first?"

"Of course, we can't have you starve to death." Once I had grabbed my pop tarts and a glass of water, I sat down at the island and started eating.

I heard the back door open, and heard the dogs nails on the floor.

"Hey Y/NN!" (nickname) Albert said, walking up behind me and kissing me on the top of the head. "Hi dad."

"Did you sleep well? It's a big day today!"

"Yeah, but I woke up to basically a million notifications."

"Yeah, I was just about to say something about that." Kirsten chimed in.
