[warning! mentions of self harm]

"Hello, everyone!"
A familiar girl with long silver hair and a beaming smile on her face stood in the gym's doorway as the sun's rays peeked out from behind her. It was as if an angel had descended.
"Oh! Haiba-san!" Daichi said, surprised by the unexpected visit.
The girl waved at them as she used her other hand to push the hem of her dress down from billowing. She then ran at Yui, barreling into the girl and ignoring her shouts of defiance. "Yui-chan! I missed you!"
"What the-, Alisa!"
The team could only deadpan in confusion as they were ignored.
Alisa sends Yui tumbling to the ground, the girls landing with a loud 'thump' and a shout of "You're so going to get it!"
The girls stopped grappling after a while and regained their composure. Yui coughed lightly before turning towards Alisa, a look of expectancy and questioning on her face. "So, Alisa, why are you here in the first place? And please get here by car next time, not by helicopter. Don't be so extra."
Alisa merely giggled goofily before turning stoic. Alisa then turned to Yui and gave her a look of worry. "Yui, you know why I'm here, right?" Alisa asked, quite concerned with the girl's current condition.
Yui merely rolled her eyes defiantly and crossed her arms. She frowned and raised an eyebrow before ignoring the volleyball members and speaking directly to Alisa. "I know. And we aren't going to talk about it he-"
"No. We are." Alisa interrupted. She then used her hand and gestured towards the volleyball members. "They deserve to know the truth. I trust them to protect you. You should trust them too."
Yui didn't understand. She couldn't understand. More like, she refused to understand. It was her problem, not theirs. Why do they have to butt in every time? Just because she told them about it, don't mean that they could tell her how to deal with it. Doesn't mean it would stop.
"Stop with this act already. We're worried." This time it wasn't Alisa, but Tobio who had stepped up.
He was worried. The last time his sister had defied their protection and suspicions, she had ended up worse than hurt. The last time it happened she ended up broken. He wasn't going to allow that to happen again. That time was going to be the last time, and he was going to promise that.
"They need to know. We're just trying to protect you!" Tobio stepped forward but Yui took a step back.
The volleyball club members could only stare and say nothing. The look on Yui's face holding them in their places. It was an expression they never thought they'd ever see on her face. Her eyes were wide, pupils quivering. Her body was leaning back slightly and her limbs were shaking. She was terrified. Terrified of whatever they were talking about. Or rather, the outcome of the certain topic.
Yui's eyes darted from side to side, trying to find someone, anyone, that would be on her side. Her eyes scanned the room before landing on a pair. Sugawara's.
His gaze was still and firm. He was with them. He was on their side. She had enough. That was the trigger. In a flash, she grabbed her bag, swung it over her shoulder, and ran out of the gym before anyone could stop her.
"Yui!" Alisa shouted. Running after the girl but by the time she managed to turn around, the girl was already out of reach.
"Goddamnit! Yui!" Alisa shouted, throwing her beanie down onto the ground. She was frustrated. These past few days she had been trying to figure out what that person has been doing. Where he's been. Who he knows. And all the searching has been wearing her down. She felt tired and Yui's acts of defiance were just making her feel worse.
