Alexis's POV
"We have to reach a locked door at the end of this corridor. This is gonna be tricky," Captain told us as we walked through the hallways of the ship.
"You wouldn't happen to be related to the Haddocks of Marlinspike Hall, would you?" Tintin asked.
"Why do you ask?" Captain asked.
"It's for a story we've been working on, an old shipwreck that happened off the coast of Barbados. Triple masted. Fifty guns," I said said as we passed a hallway full of men. Before we could any further, Captain shoves us to the wall with one arm.
"What do you know about the Unicorn?" Captain then asked.
"Not a lot. That's why we're asking you," Tintin answered.
"The secret of that ship is known only to my family. It's been passed down from generation to generation. My granddaddy himself, with his dying breath, told me the tale," Captain told us.
"And?" Tintin asked.
"Gone," Captain then said.
"What do you mean by gone?" I asked.
"I was so upset when he kicked the bucket, I had no choice but to drown my sorrows. When I woke up in the morning, it was gone. Forgotten it all," Captain told us as he let go of us and opened a door to a staircase.
"Everything?" Tintin asked.
"Every last word," Captain replied.
"Is there somebody else in your family? Maybe they would know," Tintin then asked.
"Sir Francis had three sons. All but my bloodline failed. I am the last of the Haddocks," Captain explained. When he mentioned about Sir Francis having three sons, that reminded me about the scroll when it mentioned about three sons.
"Three sons?" I asked.
But before anyone could say anything, we heard someone open a door from the top of the staircase. We then quickly hid underneath the stairs and tried to stay quiet.
"There is bottle of rum for man who find Haddock," A man said as he and another guy walked down the stairs.
"And we kill the boy. Hope I find him first," Said the other guy.
This caused me to gasp in fear as they mentioned about killing my brother. This then caused Tintin to cover my mouth as he shushed me.
One of the guys then turned around and looked up the stairs with his gun out.
"What's that?" The guy asked.
"Aah, you're just hearing things," Said the other guy that already left into the hallway.
"Quiet, Ali," The guy with the gun out told the other guy in the hall. He the left and went into the hallway.
"No, there's nothing there," The other guy, known as Ali, said.
We then quickly got up and went up the stairs. Just as Captain was going to open the door, Tintin spoke.
"I know what Sakharine's looking for," Tintin said in realization.
"What are you raving on about?" Captain asked.
"It was written on the scroll. 'Three bothers joined... Three Unicorns in company, sailing in the noonday sun will speak,'" Tintin said.
"Really?" Captain questioned. I then realized what my brother was talking.
"Sir Francis didn't make two models. He made three for each son," I then said.
"Excellent," Captain said, and then walked through the doorway.
"Sakharine's after the third model ship," Tintin then stated as we walked towards a door. Captain tried to open it, but it was locked.
"Barnacles! Someone's locked the door," Captain told us.
"Well, is there a key?" Tintin asked Captain.
"A key? Aah. Yes, now that would be the problem," Captain said as Tintin coughed when smelling Captain's breath.
We then followed Captain as he made walked to the location we're supposed to be.
Where exactly are we going?
