Emma's POV:

I couldnt go back to sleep once my alarm went off...this is it! This is going to be the day I find out if I was the sophomore to make the varsity team or be on the JV team...I couldn't wait any longer. I instantly got changed...did my hair...I only brushed it because of how super short it is, and I ran to the kitchen to ear breakfast

Marinette: Woah...someone's excited

Emma: Of course...I cannot wait to join the cherr team...and fingers crossed...actually makes friends of my own

Marinette: Whay about Piper?

Emma: I dont know...she never really gave any interest in me yesterday, I'm guessing she already made her own friends

Marinette: Well you know how she was at her last school

Emma: Yeah...I'm guessing she knew people at my school or something

Marinette: You'll be alright Emma

Louis: You'll probably makes friends the moment you look at that list

Emma: Probably not...

*I automatically ran out the door and ran straight to the bus...we took off...the bus ride felt long, and I tried getting Piper to sit next to me but it seemed like she was avoiding me...what? Anyways...we finally made it to the school and I tried taking to Piper again...but she ignored me. I just went straight to the gym after and there were the same girls from yesterday...they were all looking at the lists. This is it, the moment of truth

Girl 1: What the hell? How?

Girl 2: Maybe it was a bribe from her super famous mother

Emma: What's going on?

Girl 1: There you are...did you mommy pay the school to do this for you?

Emma: Do what?

*I walked up to the list and looked at it...I first looked at the freshman team, I dont see my name for captain so I look at the jv team...I dont see my name on there either...that's when I looked at the varsity team...and there my name was, Emilina Genevive Agreste 10! What?

Emma: I- I made the varsity team

Girl 3: You weren't even that good

Girl 1: Come on now...I bet you had your parents pay good money for you to be in varsity

Emma: My parents would never do that...I worked very hard on my own. I made the team by their decision

*How was this even possible...I already had enemies and we didnt even go to practice yet. I look at the list one more time to make sure that I was just dreaming, but then I see something else...Madi's name. Madison Rae Anciel 11. She wasnt a senior...she was a junior! I went to class and thought more about it but I didnt want it to bring it to her attention. There had to be a reason and I dont wanna do that. She's actually kinda cute tho....fuck calm down Emma, too many feelings right now! I asked the teacher to leave for the restroom to talk to Tikki

Tikki: So what's up Emma?

Emma: Tikki...I dont even know what to do! I mean I'm glad I made varsity but now everyone hates me

Emma: I'm hoping so...I'm also questioning why I dont have a Cat Noir yet. I mean didnt mom and dad get their miraculouses on the same day-

*There was an akuma alert and I transformed...I defeated the villain and my 2nd period class was excused. I tried taking to Piper again but she ignored me...again and I saw her go towards those girls...the ones that didnt like me....oh shit

Emma: Hey Piper-

Piper: What do you want now?

Emma: Jeez...am I not allowed to hang out with my cousin?

Piper: we arent even real cousins! Your mom has me calling her aunt Marinette only because shes best friends with my mom. So what the hell do you want from me?

Emma: I needed a friend here Piper...instead you leave me alone just like I've been alone since preschool. I have NEVER made a single friend in my life and you expect me to make friends when you're here leaving me out and shutting me out! What the hell kind of logic is that

Piper: Well I'm sorry if I'm not the one who has super famous mommy pay the school for you to be on the varsity team so just leave you bitch!

*I didn't think that was going to happen...I ran away crying like that...I ran past Louis and he didnt even notice! I kept running until I bumped into someone

Emma: why did you guys put me on the varsity team? D-did my m-mom put you g-guys up for it?!😭

Madi: No...she didnt Emma...what happened?

Emma: These girls....they're hurting me verbally. They're telling me I wasnt good enough or I didnt even try hard enough to make the team

Emma: I dont even know them and now they're getting my cousin Piper to turn on me to and its not fair because I've never had a single friend since preschool!
