November 5th, 2019,

Today was Friday.

I didn't do much besides work on my current book, along with some short hours editing some other authors' books. After that, I celebrated earlier this night by feeding, and killing, yet another soon-to-be serial killer. That will be one less problem for the world, and grand country of England, to deal with now.

~ Arthur Kirkland ~

Arthur sighed, closing his diary and setting it on his bedside table before getting out of his bed to make himself something to eat despite already having 'dinner' earlier that evening.

On Monday, when Francis was visiting him after their meeting, Arthur wouldn't let his boyfriend look at his diary, more or less touch it. Francis had asked him why, but Arthur didn't tell him the real reason, no.

It really wasn't a 'diary,' either, but rather, a day by day log of every person Arthur had killed since he was turned into a vampire.

Granted, that was three years ago, and surely the pain would have gone away by then, but did the pain really go away at all?

No, Arthur thought as he stared out of his kitchen window, it doesn't.

He started making some Earl Grey tea, his favorite, knowing that he needed to keep a calm mind.

One less killer, he told himself. One less killer. They are not innocent people, like children. They are murderers!

However, Arthur remained unconvinced of that himself. While he got rid of the killers, he became a killer as well. He was also surprised that he hadn't been caught, yet.

Do people even know? Arthur thought, furrowing his brows in confusion. Would people even suspect me?

He shook his head, laughing at the ridiculous thought. Arthur was a quiet person most of the time, except around his family, friends, and boyfriend. He also preferred to stay in his house, except to run errands, so people on the streets would gossip about him being a 'recluse' and a hypothetical vampire instead of a real one.

Although, Arthur enjoyed the attention from everyone talking about him, so he sometimes went out for a walk just to hear what people would say about him that time around.

"Well, I should probably go to bed," Arthur said to himself, finishing his tea before going up to his room.

Snuggling into the warm blankets and comfortable bed, Arthur closed his eyes and fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.

The next morning, Arthur woke up at around eight o'clock, mostly due to the bright sun shining through his curtains. Those long, pieces of red fabric were the only things keeping him from burning up because of the sun's rays, for he unfortunately left his windows open sometimes to bring in the fresh, outside air.

He sighed heavily once again, getting out of his bed to make something for breakfast. The weekends were his favorite days of the week, considering those were the days he had the most time to write his books.

As soon as Arthur started making some tea, he felt soft bodies rub against his legs. He chuckled as he looked at the floor, kneeling down to pet his cats' heads.

"And a good morning to you too, Tilly," he replied, "London."

Tilly and London were twin, Scottish Fold cats, and it was clear that Tilly was the female, and London was her brother. Tilly had white fur with grey blotches, while London was grey with white blotches.
