Another diamond, another timeline (a Steven Universe, universe)

"Pebble, I'm back!" Steve whispered.

"Steve!" Pebble smiled, climbing onto Steve.

"Have you found a way out yet?" Steve asked.

"I'm sorry, I haven't" Pebble trailed off.

"Diner's ready!" The lady yelled.

"I'm sorry Pebble, I'll be back!" Steve smiled. Steve left the room and went down stairs to the dining room.

"Move it rock!" A kid pushed.

"Steve, what are you doing on the floor?" The lady asked.

"It's comfortable" Steve smiled.

"If you want to eat get to the table!" The lady yelled. Steve got up and walked to his seat and tried to sit down but another kid pulled his seat away and Steve fell to the floor.

"Steve, what are you doing down there?" The kid laughed.

"Steve! Stop playing around or you'll go back to your room hungry!" The lady yelled.

"Yes ma'am" Steve spoke. The food was served to the kids but another kid pushed Steve's head into his food.

"Steve! Go to your room!" The lady yelled.

"Yes ma'am" Steve frowned. Steve walked up to his room.

"Steve!" Pebble smiled.

"Pebble, I want to leave here tonight" Steve frowned.

"But Steve-" Pebble started.

"We can use my powers to sneak out" Steve suggested.

"But we know nothing about these powers it could be dangerous!" Pebble warned.

"I'll have to risk it, I can't take living here anymore!" Steve whisper-yelled.

"L-lets go then" Pebble sweated.

"Bedtime!" The lady yelled.

"Let's go out the window, I can float us down" Steve spoke. Steve grabbed Pebble and punched a hole in the wall.

"What was that?" The lady yelled. Steve looked behind him, then jumped out the hole.

"Steve, they're following us!" Pebble warned.

"I'll just have to run faster!" Steve yelled. Steve ran and ran until he ran into something.

"You! You have Blue diamond!" Blue Pearl yelled.

"Blue diamond?" Steve questioned.

"Sounds familiar..." Pebble trailed off.

"I'm not rich, I wouldn't have a diamond... oh! You mean this rock? I was just born with it" Steve frowned, "I can't stay for long I have to continue running!"

"Hand over Blue diamond!" Blue Pearl yelled, grabbing the gem in Steve's chest.

"Hey! Back off!" Steve yelled, pushing Blue Pearl away but failing.

"Steve, I don't think you should have done that!" Pebble yelled.

"You having Blue diamond is a disgrace to her legacy!" Blue Pearl yelled.

"Diamonds can't have genders! They're just objects!" Steve yelled.

"Steve, I'm a pebble" Pebble stated.

"This way!" Stephen yelled.

"Who are you? Why do you look like me?" Steve questioned.

"I don't have time to explain, Ruby! Get that Pearl!" Stephen yelled.

"Yes my diamond!" Ruby spoke, making a diamond with her hands.

"Diamond?" Blue Pearl questioned. Ruby ran over and punched Blue Pearl and she poofed.

"Got it!" Ruby shouted.

"Told the new technology would poof them in no time!" Peridot bragged.

"Yes, very good Peridot" Stephen frowned.

"Who are you?" Steve yelled.

"Sorry I guess you wouldn't know. My name is Stephan son of Yellow diamond" Stephen introduced, "You are the son of Blue diamond"

"You know my mom?" Steve asked.

"No, but my mom was friends with your mom" Stephen stated, "get on the ship, Ruby continue the search for the other diamonds"

"There he is! What is that?" The lady yelled.

"Yeah, okay let's go!" Steve yelled. Steve ran inside the ship.

"Steve, I don't like this we shouldn't be doing this, this is Yellow's battle" Pebble whispered.

"I don't know what you mean by that, but this is just what I needed! An escape from the orphanage and the bullies..." Steve trailed off.

"If you say so Steve" Pebble said.

"Why do you have that Pebble with you?" Stephen asked.

"Pebble? She's always been there for me" Steve stated.

"Pearl, tell her that we found Blue diamond" Stephan ordered.

"Yes, my diamond" Yellow Pearl spoke.

"Why do they keep calling you a diamond?" Steve asked.

"Because that's what you and me are, diamonds" Stephen said, "It's a shame that you had the misfortune of being stuck on Pink's colony"

"Pink's colony?" Steve asked.

"You can ask the Peridot your questions or you can go to my quarters and get some rest" Stephan spoke.

"Yeah, I think I could use some rest" Steve smiled.

"Just down the hall and to your left, we will wait to discuss your Pearls punishment after she reforms" Stephan directed.

"Thanks..." Steve trailed off. Steve walked to the back of the ship where a hallway was and walked down it. The room Steve walked in was filled with bubbles that inside it were spiky balls.

"Steve! This isn't right! We have to fix them!" Pebble pleaded.

"I'm sorry Pebble I don't think we can do anything" Steve spoke, falling down onto Stephens bed.

"Right, what could you do? Neither of us remember a world like this, your mother only erased my memories then told me to stay with you" Pebble frowned. Pebble jumped off Steve and lashed on the bed.

"I'm sorry Pebble, I wish I could say my mother was different but I can't. I never knew her" Steve frowned, "That person, the blue one she tried to take the rock out of me. Could she really? Then maybe I could live as a normal kid with no powers a life with just you and me"

"Steve you know it won't work that way, you saw what happened to me and those kids" Pebble stated.

"Right, but I can still dream right? Once Stephan has us far enough away then me and you can leave. Leave for a semi normal life we have been stuck in that orphanage for seventeen years!" Steve smiled.

"I came to see you" Blue Pearl frowned.

"It's you" Steve frowned.

"I'm sorry I just don't want my diamond to suffer because she was stuck with a human weakling!" Blue Pearl cried, "now I'm going to be shattered!"

"What does shatter mean?" Steve asked.

"When a gem is shattered they can't come back" Blue Pearl cried.

"Steve, we have to do something" Pebble whispered.

I didn't feel like doing this over the weekend and school still finds a way to wake us up early in the morning for food. So now there are groups Pink and White. Also Yellow and Blue. Farewell Reader~Chan/Kun!
