Nobody's POV
The members of the club were in shock when they arrived to the mansion. To see Ryu alive and well. They had questions but didn't know where to start. Eventually Karou broke the silence.
"Thank you for coming over on such short notice...yeah..I was a mess when I saw him too. Please listen to what he has to say." Karou steps aside and Ryu takes their attention.
"I was an underground assassin. Very tacky to say but It's true. Trained to kill like dog. No, I didn't get to choose who I would kill. But I did one request. I wouldn't kill anyone that was innocent. After witnessing a traumatizing case." Ryu grew quite and clenched his jaw. Then began to speak again. "I left the organization after my father was killed. My Mother did her best to hide me from them. Only to be threaten later by the organization. So I did the false suicide. I'm sorry. I didn't want the club to get hurt for my doings. I wished for your safety and I... didn't want them to hurt my friends that could be called my family... you all are just too special to me." The tears began to fall. The members never saw Ryu cry. A trickster who was down to cause trouble and play games. Heaving sharp breaths and countleass tears falling.
Suddenly Tamaki walked toward him and so did Kyoya. Both grabbing one of his shoulders.
"Shut up." Kyoya gave a small chuckle and slanted smile. His eyes were watering behind his glasses.
"As our Club President, I thank you for protecting us. Knowing it wasn't easy on you especially. I can say we're happy you're just alive and well. We missed you too Ryu." Tamaki is trying to keep his voice steady but his eyes start tearing up. With his bottom lip quivering.
The two then give a bear hug to Ryu. Both slightly crying from knowing their friend- No their family member is still alive. Then Honey jumps toward them and so did Mori. Also having tears roll down their face. No one can imagine their relief to know Ryu is ok.
"Haruhi. You don't seem suprised." Hikaru whispers to her.
"Well I knew his plan and it wasn't easy for me not say anything to you guys. Especially to watch Karou loud cries of a pain at the funeral." Haruhi spoke but then a strain was apparent in her speech. She too was shedding some tears from seeing how hurt her friends were. Relieved the secret was finally out. Hikaru sighs wraping his left arm around her and pulling her in. Letting Haruhi cry into his shoulder. Hikaru was happy to know she wasn't entirely numb to the situation.
After some heavy emotions were let out. They all sat down in the living room. And discussed what to do from there. Even asking Ryu questions that could clear up loose ends.
"How did you stop the organization?" Kyoya asks.
"I had to infiltrate the system slowly to break it down from bottom to the top." Ryu sighs remembering how difficult it was.
"So you killed the snake's head." Mori's low voice hummed.
"Yes. That's exactly what I did." Ryu was too tired from crying he didn't think twice on Mori speaking.
"That is very astonishing. Will you be under a false name?" Kyoya says while cleaning his glasses.
"Yes. I will have my mother's grandfather's name as my first. With my background story being a very simple and believable one. As "Ryu's" twin brother being abroad to study in America. And not comfortable with public attention so he kept a low profile." Stretching his fingers behind his head to show how carefree he is with the story. Knowing damn well no one will question it.
"Will you be finishing school at Ouran?" Honey hums.
"No that will cause more trouble than anything. I plan to do home-schooling." Saying Ryu's plan. Karou shows visible disappointment in that answer.
BARK BARK
"Midnight! Buddy come say hi." A large black lab runs to the group. Wagging his tail in excitement.
"Can we all agree to hangout again sometime? Anytime?" Hikaru raising his hand to catch everyone's attention from the large puppy.
"Of course! That's the least I can do." Ryu smiles.
"You're kinder from before." Tamaki blurts.
"Huh? You like me to say shit and fuck? You're a sick bastard you know that." Ryu laughs to give him the hint it's all sarcasm.
"There he is." Everyone sighs in unison.

Ever since their reunion. Everyone kept in touch and grew older. Having made the best times together. Soon they would meet up rarely. But they did have a designated date for a reunion annually. They all were in their late thirties. Living their best lives. Doing their jobs and traveling the world.
As for Karou and Ryu. They were in a relationship since being reunited. They had never had the idea of splitting. Til one day.
"Karou, I care for you." Ryu whispers softly.
"I know." Karou chuckles at the obvious remark.
"I just don't think being with you is enough." Ryu lets go of Karou's hand. Karou stops walking and turns to Ryu.
"What do you mean? Why would would you say that on our walk in the garden. Especially on our anniversary." Karou huffs from slight annoyance but worry was wavering in his chest.
"I don't think being your boyfriend is enough." Ryu smiles.
"You don't mean." Karou eyes widen in shock. Ryu kneels on the ground and pulls out a leather box. With swift hands he opens it.
"Will You Marry Me?" Ryu gives his signature smile.
"Ryu... yes." Karou took a second to register the question. Pulling Ryu up for a passionate kiss. Having been so happy they share tears.
"Thank god you said yes." Ryu exhaled in relief.
"You big dumbie. You know I would say yes." Karou laughed bonking his forehead. Ryu smiles and slips the golden band around his finger.
"Let's tell the rest of the family."
"It'll be one heck of a celebration." They both hold each in a warm hug and walk back to their humble home. Not daring to let go of the others hand.
"I love you Karou~."
"I love you too Ryu~."
