chapter 1 "aai g!"

Start from the beginning

"Man, I love the main character, Hasley. She's such a badass!" I said, crossing and opening my hands in the air.

"Yeah, and I love the second lead, Steve. He's such a sweetheart," he replied with the same energy.

"And they better give them a chance. They look so cute together, don't they?" I asked him.

While I saw Rihan standing right beside Siddharth, I couldn't help but talk about the series. It's my favorite, and I love it so much.

"They do, they really do! Do you remember the "seed" scene? It was so romantic, wasn't it?" Siddharth asked.

"Yeah, and that cabin scene was hilarious!" I exclaimed, recalling the moment. "I couldn't stop laughing when they accidentally bumped into each other. It was pure comedy gold!"

"The cabin scene was epic!" he exclaimed in excitement and chuckled at the same time , glancing back at Kavya and then back at me. "I hope they do justice to them in the next season," he said, lowering his voice and expressing his anticipation.

"Yeah, they should definitely make it even more thrilling," I replied, matching his lowered voice.

As I glanced at Rihan, I couldn't help but feel his continuous gaze on me. I wondered if he was... well, never mind.

"Done with the talks?" he asked, fixing his locks. He does look attractive, but I can't help but be a little jealous that his eyelashes are longer than mine.

"Now we're Not running late, are we?" he asked again, pointing his eyes towards us.

"All set, let's go," I told him, motioning for him to take a seat.

And just like that, Rihan, Kavya, Siddharth, and I hopped on our bikes, and wearing our cool sunglasses. This is how we always roll, and that's what makes our college days so memorable.

As we were riding on the bike, feeling the wind in our hair, Rihan tapped my shoulder twice. "Haa bolo," I replied, nodding my head to let him know I was listening amidst the noise of the air.

"Jaldi chalo, late ho raha hai," he said, his voice blending with the rushing wind.

"Stupid, I thought you wanted to tell me something else," I said, feeling my mood shift to a slightly more irritated state. I raised my voice a bit, making sure he could hear me over the bike's noise.

"Okay, okay, but ek baat bolu," he asked, lowering his voice.

"Haa bolo bhi," I replied dryly, my annoyance still lingering.

"I forgot to wear shoes, I'm on slippers," he said, I couldn't believe it and stopped the bike in the middle of the road.

"What?" I asked, my voice getting louder.

"You serious?" I asked again, turning to face him.

"Look," he said, holding his foot up.

"Rihan, you're so stupid, idiot!" I yelled, frustration filling my voice as I started the bike and took a quick U-turn.

"Umm sorry," he said, his voice filled with remorse.

And I stopped the bike in front of his house.

"Go now, jaldi Jaa jaldi aa," I said, my tone impatient, as he quickly got off the bike as soon as I stopped. He came back wearing his shoes and jumped on the bike.

"Aram see," I yelled, trying to balance the bike.

"Haa haa koi ni chalo jaldii," he said, patting my shoulder, and I gave him a side-eye in the mirror, like seriously, it was him who was running late.
