Chapter 2

"Sometimes yeah" Eddie replies.

"Than you probably have crabs." Richie snickers. I roll my eyes.

"That's so not funny." Eddie tells him. Bill, Richie, and I walk into the sewer.

"Aren't you guys coming in?" I ask.

"Uh uh that's grey water." Eddie points out.

"What the hell is grey water?" Richie questions.

"It's basically piss and shit so I'm telling you, you guys are splashing around in millions of gallons of Derry pee." Eddie replies. I look at the water.

"Gross! Why didn't you tell me before I stepped into it." I whine as I get out of the sewer and walk towards Stan, disgusted. He laughs. I pout and swat his shoulder. He wraps and arm around my shoulder. He's like another brother to me, all of the losers are. So wrapping an arm around me or holding hands is nothing.

"W-What are you serious?" I hear Eddie say. I look over at him and see he's staring at Richie who is holding a stick to his nose.

"Doesn't smell like caca to me senior" Richie jokes.

"Your disgusting, Richie" I tell him.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever sis." Richie says.

"O-Okay I can smell that from here Rich." Eddie gags.

"That's probably just your breath wafting back into your face." Richie replies. I roll my eyes for like the 100th time today.

"Have you ever heard of a staph infection?! That is just so-"

"A staph infection!" Richie shouted in an annoying accent.

"That's so unsanitary!" Eddie yells. "Literally like this is water coming from inside a toilet bowl right now! I mean have you ever heard of UGH!"

You laugh as you see Richie throw something at Eddie.

"ARE YOU RETARDED YOU JUST UGH!!!" Eddie growls.

"Yes he is very much retarded." I tell Eddie. Richie looks at me fake offended.

"No I'm not!" Richie yells.

"Your the reason why we're in this position right now." Eddie says.

"Guys!" I hear Bill call. I look at him to see him holding a shoe, pointing his flashlight at it.

"Shit don't tell me that's..." Stan gasps.

"No, Georgie wore galoshes." Bill responds.

"Whose sneaker is it?" I ask. Bill shines is flashlight into the shoe.

"It's Betty Ripsom's..." Richie answers.

"Oh shit..." Eddie mumbles, "oh god, oh fuck! I don't like this."

"I mean think how Betty feels" Richie says, "wondering around these tunnels with only one freaking shoe!"

"Richie!" I shout at him.

"What if she's still here?" Stan asks. I hug his side. The two boys continued walking forward.

"Eddie, Stanley, Y/N come on!" Richie calls.

"Hell no!" I say.

"My mom will have an aneurism okay? If she finds out that we're playing down here, I'm serious." Eddie hissed.

"Bill?" Richie calls.

"I-If I was Betty Ripsom I-I'd want us to find me," Bill stutters, "G-Georgie too."

I look down. Everyone becomes quiet.

"What if I don't want to find them?" Eddie asks. I gasp.

"Eddie..." I say quietly. He looks at me for a quick second then to Bill.

"I mean no offense Bill, but I don't want to end up like them...I don't want to go missing either." Eddie argues.

"He has a point." Stan agrees. I look at him then at the ground.

"Y-You, too?" Bill questions.

"It's summer! We're supposed to be having fun," Stan replies, " this isn't fun, this is scary and disgusting."

I hear a splash behind me and I spin around scared until I realize it is the new kid, Ben. I look at him and see he is holding his stomach that is bleeding.

"Oh my god." I whisper.

"Holy shit! What happened to you?" Richie asks stepping out of the sewer, and standing next to you. Ben just looks at us while we walk to him.

"We have to help him!" I say. I go over to him and help him up with Bill helping me. We walk over to the bikes and put Ben on Bill's bike. I hop on my bike and start riding to the pharmacy.
