Miraculous Universe (Cat Noir X Reader) (Complete)

Days pass by as me and Adrien finally arrive in New York. "The city full of dreams." Adrien says. We get out of the subway as we start walking around the station. "Where are we even going anyway?" I ask Adrien. He shrugs, "I don't know." We look up at our guards when Victor (my body guard) speaks up, "Well, we can either rest for now at the hotel or we can walk around the city and go "sight-seeing"." I talk in a low voice so only hear as I speak to Adrien, "I think it would be best to sight-see to see if anything is out of place. Plus," I say in a more excited tone, "It'll be fun! I wanna try some of their food! I heard New York style food is delicious." Adrien smiles and nods, "Sounds like a plan to me!" He grabs my hand and we start racing out the station to a crowded street with Victor shouting, "Slow down!" Me and Adrien just laugh as we race through the streets.

We stop by a few little shops on the streets and we buy some snacks. We loose our guards in the process of racing from building to building and turning corners. We stop at a little ice cream shop and grab some ice cream and head outside and hide in between the buildings as we eat our ice cream and look through the streets. "What are we supposed to be looking for?" I ask Adrien while looking on the streets. "We want to catch Mayura but we don't even know who she is or what she looks like. All we know is that she's hear because she's akumatized many of her victims. We don't have any leads.." Adrien stays silent, contemplating on my words, his brow furrowed. "I don't know what we're looking for but we'll know once we find it..." We stare silently at the bustling street, people walking this way and that. Suddenly Fang pops out, 'Well we can't just stand here forever you know?' He then flies away towards the busy street. "Wait up Fang! It's dangerous out there!" I yell while chasing after him and Adrien yelling after me while chasing me.

Unfortunately after minutes go by of running down the streets, we accidentally bump into our guards. "Oh there you two scums are!" Victor shouts. Adrien just rubs the back of his head and laughs nervously. "Maybe you two should exercise more. We were just really excited." I chuckle slightly but Victor looks as angry as ever. "From now on you guys will be on strict watch. New York can be very dangerous! I would've felt terrible if something had happened to you two. So be more careful idiots!" I just laugh cheekily, "No promises!" I say in a sing-songy voice. Victor just shoots me death glares.

We eventually decide that it's time to head to the hotel but on our way there we encounter a familiar looking face. "Oh hey, it's Natalie!" Adrien exclaims happily then his smile disapears. "Wait...did father send you to pick me up early? He asks sadden eyes. "No. I had some...other buisness to attend to here but I will contact your father later to let him know that you are doing well." She gives Adrien a slight smile. "Oh, thank you! I kind of miss my father and France so it's nice to see a familiar face." Natalie just nods. "Excuse me Adrien but I have some buisness to attend to but you are in good hands. Give your father a call soon. I'm sure he would be delighted to hear from you again." She gives a slight smile before walking away. After our encouter we soon head to the hotel and pick up some food and eat in our respective rooms. Of course- me and Adrien share a room. It has become the most natural thing in the world to us now.

The next night around midnight me and Adrien decide to survey the city for a little bit. The streets are always bustling especially at night between the people who work at night and the people who party at night, the streets are busy as ever. Today we decide to hide in plain sight. We keep our hoods down and keep our heads faced towards the ground while looking aound, trying not to draw too much attention. "What are we looking for?" I ask Adrien. "Mayura...or at least some signs of people she's akumatized." He looks at his surroundings with a stoic expression. "I just realized something," Adrien turns and looks at me while we stroll down the streets. I lower my voice so any eavesdroppers can't hear. ",ever since we got here we haven't found a single akumatized victim...Why do you think that's the case." Adrien stays silent for a moment before speaking up, "Maybe Mayura is using them as pawns or waiting for the right moment to strike. You never know, she has the ability to akumatize multiple people at once. She could already have an army of pawns...for all we know she could've already left New York." I walk next to him silently when I suddenly hear something ahead. "Look! Ahead!" Adrien looks up and his eyes widen in surprise. "It's Mayura!" He says in a low voice. He drags me down into an alley way. 'Fang! Paws up!' I shout. 'Plag! Claws out!' Adrien shouts. Within a minute we have managed to transform and we are running from rooftop to rooftop spying on Mayura from afar.

We silently follow Mayura until she finally comes to a stop and duck down. She looks slightly to the left like she notices us then says in a quiet voice, "You guys can come out. You guys are terrible at hiding, especially from me." Shocked me and Adrien hesitantly stand up. She turns around and eyes us suspiciously. "Who are u two? I've never seen miraclous like u before." Thats right, we gave our kwami's food with differen't ingridents in them in order to make us unnoticeable. It even temporarily changes our hair color and our hair stays that color sometime after our suits are deactivated. "You don't need to know. Just know that we are not to be messed with." She just gives a manical laugh as she starts charging towards us, "This will be fun!" She shouts.

Me and Adrien manage to fight her off for a long time but then my suit starts to beep. Adrien shouts, "You have to leave now!" I shrug him off, "I can't- Not yet! We can't just let Mayura escape!" We continue fighting but it's not long before my suit deactivates and at that moment Mayura looks at my face and gasps in horror. Adrien yells out to me but I focus on Mayura. Something about her seems familiar. She falters while focusing on my face and Adrien manages to get in one more hit before his miraculous beeps and he rushes towards me with no hesitation and carries me off into the night,

This is really bad.
