I stayed in place for a few more minutes, trying to figure out what they were arguing about.
I think it was about Sherlock, because his name was mentioned various times as they spoke.
He's pretty popular these days.
I finally walked in and they both looked at me surprised.
"You're that girl...Y/N, right?" Molly asked.
I nodded as I glared at the woman beside her.
"Y/N?" The strange and mysterious woman asked, a hint of amusement in her tone.
"Yes, thats my name. What's your's?" I asked, scanning the room for a weapon, just in case.
I have about 5 ways I can kill her right now, so far.
"Irene." She answered, a smile appearing on her vibrantly painted red lips.
"What are you doing here?" Molly asked, hastily.
"Sherlock brought me. I don't know why." I answered.
"Sherlock? You know Sherlock Holmes?" Irene asked.
"Somewhat." I said.
"Oh..." She said, her face hardening as well as her smile becoming forced.
"Please leave, Irene." Molly said, sounding irritated, as she opened the front door, about to gesture her out.
There stood Sherlock, on his phone by the front door Molly just opened.
"What took you so lon--" He said, stopping mid sentence as he saw Irene.
"Hello, Sherlock." She smiled, stroking his cheek.
"What...are you...what are you...doing here...?" He said, having trouble to speak as Irene stroked his cheek.
She leaned in and placed a kiss on his lips, whispering something inaudible.
I couldn't help but to feel something uncomfortable in my chest.
Jealousy?
No way.
She glanced back at me and winked, before leaving.
There was complete silence.
My chest ached badly, as if I had been stabbed simultaneously.
Maybe she was Sherlock's new significant other.
Who am I to disrupt them?
Just some girl...
Stuck in this stupid woman's body.
Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions too quickly. Its none of my business.
"Did you guys need anything?" Molly asked, with a sigh of relief after Irene had left.
"Ah, yes I came to borrow some sugar." Sherlock said.
"Sugar?" She inquired, with a confused face.
"It's for a case." He sighed.
"I have an extra packet actually. I'll be right back." She said, before going into the kitchen.
After getting the sugar, Sherlock asked her a few questions about that Irene woman, but I didn't pay any attention.
It was more fun to space out.
We left Molly's and stood by the sidewalk, waiting for a cab.
I looked up at the sky, at it's lack of stars to gaze at, and the moon that was covered up by clouds.
Then I noticed him staring at me.
"What?" I asked with a blank, expressionless face.
His eyes widened a tiny bit.
It was only after we had been staring at each other for a minute, that I had noticed my eyes were flooding with tears on my blank and expressionless face.
Not again...I'm not even sad...
Am I?
"Don't worry...my eyes are just being stupid...again..." I laughed weakly.
The ache in my chest grew worse with each passing minute.
"Y/N--" He said, before I interrupted him.
"I'm fine." I said quickly.
The cut on my waist from the windowsill began to sting as well, so I placed my free hand that wasn't wiping tears away, on it.
"Let me help you." He said, attempting to touch me, but I quickly backed away.
It became difficult to breath.
"No...don't touch me." I said quietly, finding it difficult to speak.
He stared at me blankly:
"Calm down...I'm not gonna hurt you." He said, softly.
"You already have." I whispered, because my voice would crack if I spoke.
My tears had stopped, and I looked him dead in the eyes, backing away more.
"I'm not mentally stable at the moment. I hope you can forgive me, and forget me too." I said slowly.
"Everything is gonna be okay... you don't need to go." He said quietly, slowly walking closer to me as I backed away.
"Why can't you just leave me alone...?" I asked, increasing the speed I was backing away.
He kept quiet and continued to follow me.
"Go away...stop following me!" I said, louder.
I turned around began to run away.
Honestly, I don't know what I was doing.
I guess I just wanted to escape everything, escape him.
He was killing me inside, and I don't appreciate it.
I don't want to feel like that for him.
He didn't have to chase me for a very long time because I accidentally ran into a dead end, mentally cursing myself countless times, as I backed away.
There he is...
He's going to murder my heart.
I had my back to a corner and watched in horror as he came closer.
I don't want him in my life anymore.
I don't want a life anymore.
He picked me up and carried me over his back, telling me to hold on.
"Where are you gonna take me?" I sighed quietly.
"Home." He said.
"There is no home anymore, remember?" I whispered.
"I was wrong." He sighed.
