Doggy/Danny's POV

It has been over 4 weeks that I and (Y/n) have been on the run from those monsters, it was awfully exhausting for the both of us at least we managed to find a safe spot to unwind for the night within the woods. As (Y/n) was preparing the fire my sight was caught upon the clear night sky as the stars were glimmering brightly, sadly it wasn't enough to brighten the path since there were blind spots that we find troubling navigating around the area. Something was twisting inside me that I couldn't explain if it's either a good thing or not it was unexplainable to me as my thoughts clouded up, this often happens sometimes however I have no clue what was causing it for me to drift off like this... "Danny!" I snapped back from your call my gaze loomed over facing at (Y/n) with a troubled look plaster on there face as the fire had been lit up... "Danny, you're making me worried every time you do that... Are you sure there's nothing bothering you at all? I mean we've been fleeing for so long from those monsters and all... And there is time that we both nearly got caught in such areas... You could tell me you know that right?" You sat down on the bench as I sat on the other taking whiff of the clean air before my purple eyes gazed over to (Y/n)'s "...I'll be fine you don't have to be so worked up about me... I will be fine alright? ...It's getting late, maybe we should get some rest tonight..." I suggested seeing you replied with a hesitant nod "Okay then Danny... Well, good night..." a small smile crept on my face seeing (Y/n) laid on the bench and so did I "Goodnight (Y/n)..." it was quiet except the soft crackling of the fire accompanied by the sounds of the rustling trees as the gust of wind blew by... I shut my eyes closed slowly dozed off to sleep easing my tension around me it felt so calming for just a moment...

*CLANK*

My eyes immediately shot wide open sitting up from the bench I laid on before I gazed around my surroundings the temperature felt like it had suddenly dropped, the air got way colder than before the fire was still lit but it wasn't enough... Glancing over to my side seeing (Y/n) still peacefully asleep I was still tired but I couldn't risk going back to rest unaware about the possibility that the monster might be here now... "I'll be back for you (Y/n)..."

No one's POV

Danny wandered throughout the forest he couldn't see through the darkness yet hoped for the best he wouldn't run anything to knock him or either hurt himself, as he sauntered through the woods he stepped on something that rolled back from his step causing him to fall hard on his back with a loud thud "Ahh! Fucking hell..." he muttered out while rubbing his back slightly, his eyes landed down catching a glimpse of a wooden ax on the ground puzzled he was to find it laying there in the middle of nowhere but possibly the reason to make such noise earlier... He picked it up from the ground before he could stand up on his feet the ax was sturdy and rusty as it seemed it had been abandoned, Danny gently stroke the wooden handle with his fingers before reaching the corroded metal of the ax "Sharp..." he mumbled out from under his breath, he then perked up when he heard something run passed him Danny looked over to the direction where he heard something passed by him "Who's there!?" he yelled out as his voice echoed slightly within the chilling darkness, he pulled his ax close to his chest in a very defensive and conscious manner... The sounds of the grass crushing against someone's footing repeatedly came towards his direction, Danny was just about to charge to the direction where the footsteps are headed. At the moment he was going to swing his ax a figure showed itself in front of him as it held its hands over his head "Calm down! I'm not going to attack you neither I am one of them! Believe me..!" the person pleaded it was a guy who looked a bit older than Danny, he wore a red t-shirt and gray pants his hair was bright orange as his eyes were beautifully blue just like the clear ocean. Overall he was very familiar to Danny as if he had met him from somewhere that he could quite put his finger on... "Have I met you before..?" I asked
