"Oh yeah, we're doing a test run for the inn this weekend," Mom announced. "You two should come. Please, unless there's a reason you can't come together."
"We wouldn't miss it for the world," Grandma told her.
There's a storm coming. And it's raining drama.

Me and Tessa were put in room eight. "It's showtime people!" Mom yelled throughout the inn. "Move it!"
We all rushed outside and the guests arrived in style. "The horses," I cheered. Tessa was already petting the horses. "I love horses."
Mom handed us the key. "Remember, me and Rory are in room six okay?"
"Got it,"the two of us dashed upstairs. "Everything is working out great," Tessa cheered. "I mean your mom has this successful business, you made it through one year in one piece, so did I and..."
"What?" I asked her. She sat down on the bed. "I'm dating."
"No way! Who is it?" I asked her eagerly. "Kaia," she confessed and I hugged my best friend tightly. "Congratulations, I'm so happy for you," I smiled.
We both sat with Rory for our dinner. "So, how was the Brown finals?" Rory asked Tessa as we dug into our food. "Good, easier than I thought," Tessa explained.
"So you guys are going to strap cameras on yourselves while you ride rollercoasters?" Rory was curious. "Hell yes," Tessa had a big grin on her face. "It's like being in a simulation."
"Like you're riding the rollercoaster," I smiled.
"Isn't that Jason?" Rory pointed at the reception. "Oh shit," I muttered. "Who's Jason?" Tessa asked us.
"Mom's ex," I told her. "Mom sent me on an errand so I'll be back, okay?" Rory got up and left.
"Those your grandparents?" Tessa pointed at the reception. "Oh shit," I murmured. "Those four together equals chaos."

"G4," Tessa said. I looked back at the board came and pouted. "You sunk my battleship."
Tessa pumped her fist into air.
I woke up during the night to find no one around. I put my shoes on and I knocked on Mom and Rory's door. "Mom? Rory?" I opened the door to find no one there. "Where are they?"
I walked out of the Dragonfly and I walked back home. I opened the front door and I heard Mom and Rory talking.
"I'm sorry, I didn't talk to you about it first," Rory mumbled. About what? What could she possibly be talking about?
"I promised I would but I didn't know that this was gonna happen," Rory continued on. "I didn't know he was going to show up tonight and it just happened. It's awful for you to find out like this, I know but everything is okay, I'm okay and we were safe. And I'm lucky because Dean he's...aren't you glad it that it happened with someone who's good and really loves me?"
I let out a small gasp. Rory had sex with Dean?! A married guy?! I know that she was complaining about Lindsay to me but still, it's wrong!
"But he's married Rory," Mom pointed out. "You don't understand," Rory argued. "Is he still married?" Mom asked her. "Yes," Rory nodded. "I understand perfectly then," she sighed.
"But it's not working out between them, they're not happy," Rory told her. "Rory," Mom sounded ashamed..I'd go as far as disappointed.
"He tried the best he could but it didn't work," Rory tried to justify her actions. "It's over."
Nothing could justify them, she could've said no. He could've said no.
"Did Dean tell you that?" Mom asked her. "Yes!" Rory exclaimed.
"Did he tell you that he's leaving her? Or moving out? Or getting divorced?"
"We didn't get around to that," Rory admitted. "It was a crazy night."
"You," Mom sighed. "Of all people, the girl who thinks everything through, you didn't bother to discuss these things before jumping into bed with a married guy?!"
"He's not a married guy! He's Dean, my Dean!"
"No he isn't! He's Lindsay's Dean!"
"I just told you that it's over!"
"It's not over until he's out of the house with the ring off!"
"He took the ring off!"
"Oh this is unbelievable!" Mom exclaimed. "He's in love with me! Not her!" Rory snapped. "She's not good for him! She lets him quit school and work himself to death!"
"No, you can't be one of those girls who blames the wife for forcing the husband to cheat," Mom insisted.
"It wasn't cheating!"
"It was!"
I was still by the door, listening to all of this. It was cheating, how could she do this?!
"Rory, this is your first time, it's not the way it was supposed to go!"
"Hezzy would be happy for me that I lost it to someone I loved," Rory told her.
DON'T DRAG ME INTO THIS!
"No Rory, she wouldn't be," Mom told her. "And don't drag your sister into this. She'd be ashamed. I didn't raise you to be like this!"
"You're just mad because I didn't come running to you! To discuss whether or not I was ready! Did Heather? Did she come to you when she had her first time with Jess?"
"Yes, she did come to me Rory and that is totally different because she had been dating Jess for over a year at the time!"
Oh leave me out of this. Please!
"I was ready!"
"Obviously not if you chose another girl's guy!"
"He was my boyfriend!"
"You dumped him!"
"I HATE YOU FOR RUINING THIS FOR ME!"
Rory stormed out and surprisingly didn't see me. I decided to make my presence known. "Mom?"
She turned to look at me and gasped. "Oh God, did you hear all of that?"
I nodded. "This is unbelievable."
"How come you're here?" Mom asked me. "I woke up and I knocked on the door and no one was there so I came here," I told her. "I honestly have no words about this."
"Come on, let's go back to the inn," Mom said and she brought me out the back.
