My Super-Story

    As Grace passed through the portal sealing it behind herself, she collapsed. Wally freaked out rushing to her side, all the heroes except Nightwing began to worry for the young girl. Her breathing was laboured, and the blood that had been concealed by crude wrappings during battle began to make an appearance.  

Some of the League Members entered Mt Justice in total confusion, as they saw the teens all in anxious fits huddled in groups. Black Canary approached Beast Boy, one of the younger and calmer seeming of them all to ask what was going on. She was bewildered by the response, and so were the Leaguers beside her. Batman's face didn't reveal anything but she knew he was hurt by the revelation. Superman, Green Arrow, Flash, Martian Manhunter, and Red Tornado seemed all surprised as well as herself as Garfield recounted their adventure to rescue the League members in another dimension. 

"And then he was like 'isn't that right, Grace Hunter' as he ripped off her wig and mask to reveal Bruce Wayne's ward, who apparently all the older guys know. Then she was all like 'you want to see the real powers of a kigo' and then she pulled the Prophet's Bane from Halo 5 out of thin air, then was like 'stay out of my way' then when she was done with that she had Captain America's shield in her right hand and Iron Man's repulsor on her left hand as she fought him alone, it was so- cool. And she completely destroyed his glove that could give the powers of Superman, Martian Manhunter or Flash and he got so angry and was all like ARGHH!! and then he went to rush at Grace but then KF knocked him out from behind! So Epic!" Garfield went on praising Grace's battle with all the cool things she could do, when Black Canary interrupted him. 

"Where are KF, Nightwing, Artemis and Grace?" she noticed they were the only ones missing, everyone else seemed preoccupied. Even Robin sat silently on the couch, she assumed it must have been a big blow for him.

"Oh ya, when they finally came back from the other dimension, Grace collapsed they took her to the med-bay because of her injuries."

She along with Batman, Green Arrow and Flash rushed over to the med-bay, where they saw Nightwing and KF standing outside. The opposite behaviour, but like them in portraying their anxiety. KF was pacing nervously while rubbing his face anxiously checking the door every few seconds. Nightwing was leaning against the wall next to the door, though his eyes were flitting nervously. He was just as anxious just not as physical about it. When KF saw her, he rushed to her, "Can you go in, Artemis is trying to treat her injuries, but they're a lot worse than she let on" he pleaded.

Black Canary was surprised by this reaction, but steeled herself and entered the med-bay promising she would try her best. The men waited outside for news on the injured girl who's allegiance they were now questioning. Canary came back out after a while, and reported the injuries Grace had acquired during the battle, which included several cracked ribs, a mild concussion, multiple lacerations to her legs, and a sprained left wrist. The two boys who had been with her during the time between the fight and their return were surprised by exactly how much it was because she did not display the pain while they were in the other dimension and only when she returned did she collapse. Though they both thought back to her stumble when they first entered the other dimension.

"It's probably because of her switching dimensions" Batman concluded as if he read their minds,"If it's such a drastic change between dimensions and she suffered so many injuries before hand, it's sure to have manifested into her collapsing."

All of them were caught off guard though when Artemis walked out with a grim expression,"She's awake"

Some expressed their surprise but none were as quick as Wally who rushed into the room. They soon followed in to see Wally helping her sit up. They heard her laugh gently at his worried state. "I'm not a china doll, don't worry too much. Sure the bones and concussion will take longer to heal, but my healing here is still more advanced than most humans."
