Harry. That's when everything became clearer. Azurkhanians. "Harry!" I gasped, my heart thudding in pain when I remember his body limped in my arms, eyes closed, skin so pale and lips parted.

"Grandpa, is he-?" I asked him, but I couldn't even finish my sentence. The thought of him gone broke my heart into a thousand shards. Grandpa, only smiled in return, shaking his head. "No, he will be fine. He's a strong lad"

His statement made me sigh in relief. My shoulders relaxed and the heavy cloud swarming in my mind cleared at the thought of him safe and sound. But then, I remember.

"Grandpa, I don't want to leave you" I cried out, my hand clenching on his. "You can never leave me, Erina. You'll always be my little girl"

He stated, his hand moving towards my face again, memorizing. A pained smile appeared on his face. "You looked just like your mother"

I smiled at him, closing my eyes while breathing deeply. "I love you, Grandpa"

"I love you, min elskede" then everything went black.

A gasp left my lips when I awoke. My hands flailing around me as I abruptly sat down from my bed, searching for air.

"Shh, it's alright, you're safe" the familiar smooth voice spoke from beside me. Then, a glass of water was pressed down on my lips, urging me to drink. I took a large gulp, feeling the relief as the water cascade down my dry throat. "Th-thank y-you, Jaidin"

I spoke in a hoarse voice. He nodded his head while my eyes took the time to survey my surroundings. The white wall stood in front of me, just like 6 months ago. Well, this feels familiar.

"What happened?" I asked him after settling myself down. "We- we almost lost you, Erina"

That made me sit up straighter. "What?" I spoke in disbelief. From what I remember, I did not have any injuries that could kill me.

"That's what Mal thought also, but I think that, deep inside your mind, you thought Harry was gone. So you tried to follow him on the other side, unknowingly" Jaidin answered, watching me gape at him in alarm. I didn't comment about his change of words, I was too shocked to think. Jaidin sighed deeply while I was frozen in shock before standing up and walking towards a tray of food. I watched him move, my mind slowly registering what he just said before zeroing on one thing.

Harry!

My eyes widened at the thought of him, I move my body, readying myself to stand up. My hand clutched my side as I took a step away from my bed. "Woah! Wait, what do you think you're doing?" Jaidin asked me, his body towering over my form and blocking me from any further movement away from my bed.

"I need to see Harry" I declared out loud, pushing his chest away. I watched as he flinched at my words, seeing pure agony sparking in his warm golden eyes. Realizing my mistake, I bit my lip before saying. "I'm sorry"

"It's alright" he answered, giving me a pained smile before leading me back to my bed. I can still feel the guilt stabbing my conscience to death. "Don't worry 'bout Harry. He's a tough guy" He assured me, his long fingers moved to brush the hairs that feel on my face before tucking them behind my ear. My eyes flashed back to that night outside my room before everything went downhill.

"Jaidin I-"

"I know, Erina. You don't need to say anything. I understand" he spoke calmly, giving me a smile though it doesn't reach his eyes.

"I'm sorry" I apologised again, picking at my fingernails. He only gave me another forced smile before patting my head. "I'll leave you to rest," he said, squeezing my hand once more before sauntering towards the door.
