Chapter one: Nice to meet you, whats your weakness?

"You'll do amazing y/n!" They shouted in unison. You couldn't help but wonder how long they rehearsed that as they let you go. You leaned down to Otis and wrapped your arms around his large fluffy neck. He panted and licked your ear, wagging his tail the whole time.

You started sprinting away from the house, turning around slightly to see your parents waving whilst trying to hold the Husky back.

You had slowed to a walk when you came to the large gates of the even larger school.
"I should probably talk to some people about using their quirk during the physical exam and get their permission. Some people get kinda pissed if I take it without asking. If quirk copyright becomes a thing my future as a hero is screwed" you murmured to yourself as you scoped out the competition.

All sorts of students gathered outside the door before being let into the exam prep talk. You made your way towards a short, cute looking girl with brown hair and pink cheeks.
"Hey, my name is y/n l/n."
"Oh, hi! I'm Ochaco Uraraka! It's nice to meat you l/n! Come to check out the competition? My quirk is called Zero Gravity!" She seemed nervous as she was talking rather quickly.

"W-well my quirk is the reason I came to...talk to you actually" crap, youwhere stumbling over your words nervously. She tilted her head to the side and gave you a friendly yet slightly confused smile. You looked down at the floor and continued to talk.

"You see...I can use someone's quirk if I make direct skin contact with any part of them...it can only last about a minute before it disappears at the moment but the more I train the longer I can use it...so I was wondering if you'd maybe give me a high-five during the exam or something so I could use your quirk? It's no problem at all if you say no...some people can be pretty attached to their quirk and get mad at me for using it..."

You looked up at her to see her face was almost split in two with an amazed smile you shifted your gaze around awkwardly before she responded.

"L/n your quirk sounds so AWESOME! Of course I'll help you!" She clasped your hand between hers, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "You've got to show me!!"

You laughed nervously before focusing on her flow of power. Feeling it run from her fingertips down your arm into the core of your being. You instantly felt lighter. You then let go of her hand and placed the palm of the floor, loose stones from the tarmac started to float.

"WOAH!!" she giggled.

"Um...Uraraka? How do I stop it?"

She laughed and placed her fingertips together, you copied the motion and saw the stones fall to the ground.

"Ah the minute is almost up." you murmured, looking at the beeping watch on your wrist."

"Does that tell you how long you have left to use the quirk? Like a stop watch?" The girl questioned.

"Exactly like that." You released her quirk and your eyes turned back to their original colour.

"Woah I didn't know your eyes change as well!" Uraraka exclaimed excitedly as always.

"Yeah it's my biggest giveaway" you laughed. "Anyway Uraraka, it's been awesome talking to you and thanks again for letting me use your quirk but I'd better go ask some more people for their help." You said as you turned away from her. She waved as you walked away. And quickly moved to help a boy who had seemed to fall in sheer nervousness next to her.

Your next target was a large stiff boy who had engines in his calves. "That could be useful to get around to my quirk lending buddies."you thought out loud. You sighed tiredly before marching towards him ready to explain for a second time.

The engine boy who's name was Iida was extremely rule oriented and had to think hard about the rules of the exam before agreeing to let you use his quirk, luckily he didn't expect you to demonstrate to him so you had time to find just one more helper before you all entered the hall.

You where frantically looking around for another powerful or kind looking person when you felt yourself bump shoulders with a tall spiky haired blond boy who seemed to growl at the contact.

"Oops sorry I didn't mean to-"

"Shut the hell up you blabbering extra! Look where the hell you're going or you'll get blown to pieces!" He snapped at you, cutting you off and igniting small explosions in the palm of his hand

What annoyed him more than you bumping into him was the way you looked at his exploding palm like a kid in a toy shop. "Your quirk is cool..mines-"
"I don't care what your weak ass shitty quirk is, dumbass" he cut you off again with a growl in his voice. His shouting and cursing had attracted attention from the other students.

He slammed his hand down on your shoulder, making the fabric of your hoodie smoke, there was no direct skin contact so you couldn't take his quirk and you where too shocked to move.

"I don't have time to talk to annoying extras like you so stay out of my damn way! And take a shower dumbass...you smell like dog." He thundered off away from you leaving a hand shaped scorch mark on the shoulder of your hoodie.

"Ooooohhhh man." You cracked your knuckles "that spiky rude ass is going to get his quirk snatched just to piss him off!" You seethed when another hand was placed on the opposite shoulder to the burn. You saw Uraraka next to you. She smiled at you as the hall doors where opened and you made your way Inside.
