Forget Me Not (Levi Ackerman x Reader)

"I am June McKenna, a former doctor here in McKenna's small Hospital, and this is Aiden Bardot, my assistant."

Special Operations Squad has gathered in the small hospital still held the girl in their care, in Levi's hand to be specific. In their original plan, once they captured Venice Brielle, she'll be sent in the surface right away and Levi will stay in the underground in his limited time to find Y/n, but here they are, all of the squad members, sitting patiently in the couch waiting for Levi's order to get out of this dark place.

They cannot understand, all they knew was to capture the girl, not to deal with a dramatic scene, which is why they are here in McKenna's small Hospital.

"Does Venice has done something wrong?" Asked June.

"Maybe, but let's not talk about that, I have something to talk to you about her." Said Levi who's back from being stoic.

"In private."

"Venice Brielle... is not her name to be honest. She didn't know what her name is, neither I nor Aiden."

Levi listens to the Doctor carefully, absorbing every information and understanding it clearly. Now that June told him about the girl's true identity, confirmed, Venice Brielle is Y/n L/n.

He is happy that he finally found her, he can now touch and hear her voice, but Y/n didn't remember him.

"How come you didn't know her? She is a famous thug back then." Asked Levi.

"Until now she is, and to answer your question, I didn't really know her. It's because I let myself to be blinded here in the underground, and so did Aiden. We became innocent for a whole time but then, that girl came into our lives."

"Don't blame her, I'll be mad at you." Said Levi, a warning in his voice.

"I am not blaming her, in fact I want to thank her."

"She'll be going with us in the surface." He stood and fix his uniform ready to leave. He was about to walk away but a question made him stop, a question that he also ask to his own self which he cannot answer.

"Who are you to her anyway?"

Who is he to her anyway? He knows that they're friends, but the love he is feeling towards her is not just a friendly love.

What about Y/n? What does Y/n think of him when they are still together?

A brother?

Friends?

Or a Lover?

He mentally laughed at his thought. Lover? They doesn't confessed to each other, he didn't even know what the girl thinks about him. Maybe they are just friends.

Right. He sighed before speaking.

"We are just friends." And now as he realized, 'Friends' is the answer he learned just by now.

An answer he didn't want to know and accept, that is why he did not let himself come up with an answer.

"I am not leaving them here!"

"Please don't make this hard for me."

"Just go back to surface! Or catch another thief, or maybe a murderer. Again, I am not going without them."

"Understand this please Y/n."

"No, you're the one who should understand me. And don't call me that, I am not Y/n."

Levi rubbed his temples, persuading Y/n is not easy, even Aiden and June cannot push her. It's been three hours and a half since they started this convincing session, she is even handcuffed by Oluo which made Levi a little bit furious.
