Compliments (FNAF x reader)

Looking around the shop, you saw hundreds of computers and devices surrounding you.

Thinking to yourself how hard it was going to be to chose specific gifts for everyone, especially since you didn't know everyone that well, you walked around the store and stopped in front of a section full of laptops.

They were all way over your budget, but one, in particular, caught your eye.

It was sleek and silver, on the small side and seemed to be like the ones that businessmen would carry in a hurry to work in their expensive laptop bags hung over their shoulders. You could almost picture Freddy like that if he wasn't held captive in the pizzeria...

Its original print read '£120', but someone had crossed that out in black marker and wrote 'SALE' at the top with the new price in a bubble at the bottom.

Nervously, your eyes flew down to see a '£99.99', chewing it over in your head, it was only £40 over your budget, plus it seemed like something Freddy would enjoy, being professional and all.

Writing the name down of the laptop in notes on your phone, you headed to another section of the shop.

Wandering into the music side, you searched for a gift to give to Bonnie.

Being familiar with musical equipment, you pretty much already had an idea in mind. An overdrive pedal, which meant that it would boost his gain (the loudness) on the guitar when he played. It would probably annoy the others, but at least it might make the bunny warm up to you, you thought to yourself as you walked through the rows of amps lined up on the walls.

Reaching the section you wanted to get to, you searched the shelves to find something even better than what you had in mind.

It was, ironically, a purple pedal, and was not only an overdrive pedal but also a distortion pedal mixed into one. The distortion would allow the bunny to play heavy metal songs and to, well, distort the sound coming out of his amp.

Looking at the price, you saw that it was only £21.99 which was relatively cheap in your opinion, but it still looked like it was the best quality out of all of the others ones around. Putting the name of the pedal into your notes, you carried on to the next section.

MP3 players. Now you could only think of one pirate who sat in his cove all day doing absolutely nothing, needing some kind of entertainment to keep him occupied in the long working hours.

You found a black Bush MP3 which was very small but still had 8GB of storage space. It was perfect! He could hide it in his pocket easily, and he'd have to use headphones to use it so no one else could hear it in the day.

It was £17.99, so you decided to write the name in your notes and to pick up some earphones too for the shy fox.

Figuring the earphones were by the counter, you carried on your search for gifts.

Now was where it started to get really difficult. How on Earth were you going to find something for Goldie that was unique but also something he'd enjoy at the same time?

He didn't seem like the type to sit around doing nothing, but at the same time, you had no clue what he would usually do when he was alone in his room. Maybe you could get him something generic, at least then he might use it? You thought to yourself as you wandered around all the isles.

Finally, something caught your eye as you paced up and down the shelves in the store for what felt like the tenth time, even the workers were starting to look at you funny.
Tablets! Everyone usually had a random tablet just lying around in their house, it was a generic thing, he would be able to do a lot on it too, so it's not like it isn't useful. You found a tablet that had 32GB and was black, which was a colour that was about as generic as you could get really, plus is was £59.99, which was pretty much your budget. Writing down the name of the device, you went on to find the final gift.

You already had something in mind for the blonde, you knew what it was, but you had to make sure that it was the best possible one for your new friend.

Walking to the phone section, you looked around for smartphones, ones that weren't too complicated but at the same time, were very modern. Looking at the shelves for the perfect phone, you finally caught a glance at a device. It was black, well within budget (£39.95 to be exact), and also was a touchscreen which fitted all the criteria.

Of course, you would still have to show everyone how to use their devices, but you were sure that they would eventually understand, it wasn't too hard, right?

Getting a SIM card for Chicas new phone, you put the last name into your notes list and walked to the counter, picked up some red earphones for Foxy and bought what you had spent your whole morning finding.

Finally walking to next to your car, you set down the big bag you had been carrying and put it on the floor as you rummaged for your car keys. Unlocking your car, you set the carrier full of electrical goodies next to you as you proceeded to get into the car yourself.

The drive home was quick and quiet as you pondered over how everyone would react.

You really hoped they all liked their gifts, but you had a feeling a certain stubborn blonde wouldn't even give you a chance to give him his before throwing it to the floor or something stupid like that.

Shaking that thought out of your head, you pulled up to your drive, grabbed the heavy bag next to you and got out, slamming the car door shut behind you. Locking your car, you walked to your door, unlocked it and finally got into your house. Setting both your bags, the one from work and the gifts, down, you flopped onto the sofa in your living room and checked the time.

Seeing that it was 9:46, you walked upstairs and got changed into your nightwear, feeling a sudden fatigue come over you. Once you were dressed you set an alarm to wake you up at 8 pm so that you would have enough time to do everything you needed to before work. Pulling the curtains shut by your windows, you snuggled into your blankets. Within minutes you were fast asleep.
