HENRY POV

TWO WEEKS LATER

It's been two weeks since the birth of Aiden and Andre. Andre was taken out of the incubator and the NICU completely yesterday and the doctor said that he will make a full recovery.

It has been a rocky two weeks, one filled with uncertainty and fear but once I saw all my babies together in the same place my heart was settled. Andre is able to breathe by himself and his internal organs have developed properly so he is now able to eat like his brother.

Speaking of, Aiden and Andre refused to be separated now that Andre is out of the incubator. One time Jace and I put them side by side on the same changing table and they couldn't stop looking at each other. When we were done changing them, we carried them with the intention of putting them in their separate cribs but they just wouldn't stop crying until we put them in the same crib but Andre had gotten so big, he has his Father's appetite that one, we had to request for a bigger bed.

That's how they've been ever since, totally inseparable.

I have been practically staying with the kids every second of the day and if not for Jace my lovely Fiancé I wouldn't even remember to eat or sleep since I was beside myself with worry. Jace had to go to the office a few times for important meetings and work that he couldn't complete on his laptop here but he is always there when I need him.

Now that the kids are stronger the doctor said we can be discharged a few days from now but we can also leave anytime we want (I'm not sure if this is how it works but just go with it please). Jace will pick us up tomorrow so we can finally go home.

The kids have started school back up again but come with their father so that they can spend time with me and their siblings.

I am presently in the kids room watching them sleep, they look so peaceful and angelic, but my leg is falling asleep so I decide to take a walk.

While walking through the halls of the hospital, I started noticing all the things I was too worried o notice before, like how busy the hospital really is with patients in the waiting room, doctors and nurses moving quickly on their feet with a sense of urgency. I guess it is urgent seeing as peoples lives depend on them.

I remember Jace told me that the hospital has a garden so try to find it.

I walked around for a while but didn't look long because I found it after walking for a few minutes when I left the hospital through the entrance. It honestly looked really beautiful, serene and quiet.

I strolled through the garden for a while because it was really big and the flowers were so bright and eye catching. I even saw my favorite flower in the whole wide world, the orchid. I don't know why but I become happy anytime I see an orchid, they always have this calming effect, I really don't know how to explain it and now I'm talking too much in my thoughts. I really need to stop talking to myself.

During my rant at myself, I notice that someone came to join me on the bench I'm currently sitting on.

"Hi." The person said, I stopped mid rant to look at the person. It was a man who looked to be in his late twenties, I think, not too sure about placing people's age. He's tall too with chiseled features but he had a baby face. He had a smile on his face while looking at me waiting for me to respond.

"Hi." I said warily not keen on talking to strangers.

"Lovely weather we're having." He said seemingly pleased that I responded.

"Yeah its great." If this isn't awkward I don't know what is.

"You're Henry right?" Okay I'm officially freaked out. I neither accept nor deny.
