Alarms sounded off as the inmates of Cell 13 made yet another escape this morning. Hajime and Seitarou were currently in the monitor room keeping an eye on the situation at hand. Meanwhile Yamato got lost in one of the cell blocks again while you gave chase as they ran ahead of you. Most of the time they would go back to their cells when you asked them to. Which worked in your favor since you were a female prison guard and maybe the fact that they all had a little crush on you. Other times they would get in a playful mood and have you chase them around for a while. This was just another day of Cell 13's traditional game of tag and most of the time you were it. You'd notice that the inmates would run at a pace where you could almost catch them but would pick up speed when you got close. You didn't mind though, you thought it was fun. However, earlier this morning you weren't feeling too good, but you just brushed it off as your nerves acting up on you. Sometime during the chase, you started to slow down feeling unusually tired and a bit warm with perspiration forming on your forehead. The four teenagers quickly took notice that you were slacking.

"C'mon keep up!" Uno playfully called out.

"What does it look like I'm doing?" You panted as you tried to pick up speed.

"Looks like you're falling behind if you ask me," Rock chuckled.

"You usually have us back in our cells by now," Nico pointed out.

You sighed, "How about ending this game of tag and doing that instead?"

Jyugo grinned, "You're gonna have to catch us first _______."

"That's rich, coming from the slowest runner in the prison," you smirked while Rock, Nico, and Uno laughed as they continued running.

Another grin appeared on Jyugo's face, "Oh yeah? Try to keep up with this!"

Within moments all four inmates picked up speed and disappeared around the corner with you trailing behind. Suddenly, you felt dizzy causing you to stumble and you slowed down to a halt leaning against the wall for support. You panted as you felt your body temperature rise to a feverish level to the point where you thought you were going to hurl. Your legs became weak as you gingerly slumped to the ground. There was no denying it, you were sick, and you were too disoriented to think clearly. About a couple minutes later, the inmates came back and saw you lying on the floor.

"What's wrong, tired already?" Jyugo asked, you didn't respond.

Uno leaned over, "Hey ______ you ok?"

You groggily looked up and all four could see that your face was flushed red and your forehead was coated with sweat.

Nico looked a little closer, "Guys, ______ doesn't look so good."

Rock kneeled down and reached over to touch your forehead. He quickly pulled his hand away, "She's hot."

Uno rolled his eyes, "Uh yeah we can see that."

Rock quickly whipped his head around, "She has a fever damnit!"

"What?!" Jyugo, Uno, and Nico exclaimed.

"We need to get her to Doctor Otogi right away!" Nico panicked as he flailed his arms.

"Nico calm down," Jyugo said while trying to get him to stop moving around.

As soon as the anime loving teen calmed down Rock carefully scooped you up in his arms holding you bridal style. You were still dazed from your fever but you were somewhat aware of what was happening around you.

Jyugo noticed his friend picking you up, "Rock what are you doing?"

"We can't just leave her like that," Rock declared.

"True, but either way I feel like Hajime's going to beat our asses no matter what we do," Jyugo pointed out.

"And why do you get to hold her?" Uno crossed his arms slightly glaring at Rock.

"Well we're not going to get her to Dr. Otogi if we just leave her here," Rock stated.

Uno rolled his eyes, "I know that! I just wanted to be the one to carry her."

"Guys come on, we don't have time to argue," Nico tried to defuse the situation before it became a full-blown argument.

"Nico's right," Jyugo agreed, "We'd better get her out of here before Hajime finds us."

While you were still in Rock's arms, you could have sworn you saw someone charging toward them at full speed from the end of the hall then you blacked out. About a couple of hours later you woke up, it only took you a few moments, but you could tell right away you were in the infirmary from the sterol smell and the pale blue leopard print curtains. You sat yourself up on the bed and looked over to see Cell 13's inmates sitting on the couch. Seitarou stood close by keeping an eye on them. Almost in an instant their eyes were on you and the inmates gathered around your bedside. Nico was the first to flop onto the bed while the others each took a seat around you.

"Hey our princess is finally awake," Uno smiled as he sat next to you.

Seitarou sighed in relief, "You really scared us for a second."

"Yeah and when Hajime found us he really gave us the scolding of a lifetime," Jyugo mentioned as he rubbed a spot on his head indicating that Hajime hit him.

What happened after you passed out was that Hajime immediately started his yelling and cussing them out only this time he sounded even more livid than usual. It wasn't the fact that they escaped for the third time this morning thus creating more paper work for him, but it was also because you collapsed on duty and he could be held responsible. Even though they didn't do anything to you, they all still got a beating from the furious supervisor. Yamato eventually found his way out of the cell block to meet up with his fellow guards and was informed on what just happened. Then Hajime had Seitarou take care of the inmates before he had you sent to the infirmary.

"I knew Hajime can be scary but I've never seen him look that scary until today," Nico shivered at the memory.

"Sorry guys," you said feeling a bit embarrassed about collapsing earlier.

"Don't worry about it," Rock brushed it off then he ruffled your hair. "We're just glad you're ok."

You gave off a soft chuckle as you patted your hair back down, "By the way, what are you guys doing here?"

"After you were dropped off here, they got worried about you and wanted to make sure you were ok. Plus, it was time for Nico's exam," Seitarou explained.

You were well aware of Nico's condition including his treatment and the rest of his inmates would come along for emotional support. Though this was a first for you that you had been sent to the infirmary and have the guys visit you for a change. Even though you were a prison guard and they were inmates, in a way you did have some sort of bond with them even though Hajime would most likely disapprove of it. To you it felt nice that they cared that much about you.

"And we wanted to make sure our favorite guard was being taken care of," Uno winked making you blush a little.

The blue haired guard felt a little hurt hearing that comment, he also couldn't help but feel a little envious that you had their respect while they would sometimes take their aggression out on him.

Before anyone said anything else, Doctor Otogi walked over to your bedside, "Alright everyone give her some space I have to check something." The guys got off the bed and stood a few feet away. Doctor Otogi started off with placing the stethoscope onto your back to check your breathing. Then he held a digital thermometer to your ear until it made a beeping sound. He looked at the tiny screen displaying the current temperature, "Well your fever's gone down."

Doctor Otogi crossed his arms, "So tell me, what happened before you passed out?" You took in a deep breath and explained everything from not feeling well the morning up to having a fever and collapsing during this morning's escape attempt. "I see," Doctor Otogi exhaled.

"Is she gonna be ok?" Nico asked a little worried.

"She just has a cold that's all," Dr. Otogi replied in a gruff voice. "I strongly suggest she rests for the next few of days until she feels fit to come back to work."

You nodded, "Ok thanks Doctor, by the way where's Supervisor Sugoroku?"

"Oh he went to inform the Warden about your condition, he should be back in a while," Seitarou explained.

"In the meantime, I'm going to give you some medicine for your fever and you can rest here until your ready to go home," Doctor Otogi added before he walked off.

"Oh ok thank you," you replied. A little while later, Doctor Otogi had Kagu-8 came over with a tray holding a glass a water and a blue oblong shaped pill. You placed the pill in your mouth then took a few sips of water to wash it down. As soon as the glass was empty you set it back on the tray Kagu-8 was holding.

"Guess you're going to stick around here a while longer," Jyugo sat down next to you.

"Looks that way to me," you replied as leaned back onto the pillow.

Uno turned to the nurse android, "Hey Kaguya, can you make sure to look after her while we're gone?"

"Yes, I can make sure she is taken care of," Kagu-8 replied in her usual monotone voice before she walked off. When you first started working at Nanba prison you noticed at first that the boys would flirt with the female android, but then they soon shifted their attention toward you. You figured it was because they were thrilled to have an actual girl they can associate with.

"Since it's almost lunch, if you want I could ask Shirou to make some of your favorite soup for you to take home," Rock beamed.

"Do you wanna borrow my game console in case you get bored?" Nico asked.

"Thanks guys," you said blushing from the attention. "And for helping me out earlier. I really appreciated it."

"No problem," Uno said with a grin.

"Just focus on getting better," Rock patted your back.

"Next time, we'll go back to our cell when you ask us to," Nico smiled.

"Umm everyone," Seitarou spoke up, causing the group to look toward him. "I'm sorry but it's time for all of you to return to your cells."

Needless to say, they weren't too happy about leaving just yet. Rock groaned as he threw his head back, "Aww come on."

"She only woke up a few minutes ago, can we stick around a bit longer?" Uno complained.

"Just a few more minutes?" Nico begged, "Please?"

Seitarou gave them an apologetic look, "I wish I could, but the supervisor instructed me to keep an eye on you until ______ woke up."

Jyugo shrugged, "It'll just be a few more minutes, I mean what's that big gorilla gonna do about it?"

"How badly do you want to find out?" A menacing voice asked from behind them.

Within that moment, a tall dark shadow towered over the four inmates. They slowly turned around, their faces went pale as beads of sweat ran down their faces. Hajime stood behind them glaring down at them with his arms firmly crossed against his chest.

"Oh h-hi Hajime when did you get here?" Jyugo nervously stuttered.

"Visiting time is over you little shits, get back to your cells now," Hajime scowled.

"But-" Before they could protest you cut them off.

"Come on guys I'll be fine, I'd feel bad if any of you caught my cold," you gave them a reassuring smile.

"I don't think that's possible," Hajime said.

You tilted your head, "Why's that?"

"They're idiots, they couldn't catch a cold even if they tried," the supervisor bluntly replied without hesitation.

Tick marks appeared over the inmate's heads, "Hey!"

"Guys," you chided gently, they all quickly quieted down and turned toward you.

"Just try not to cause too much trouble while I'm gone, ok?" You smiled.

"Ok," the four teens said in unison and started to leave along with Hajime and Seitarou.

Just when you thought you had some quiet time you heard rapid footsteps and you saw four very familiar faces peeking from around the privacy curtain. "Get well soon!" They all called out before they were dragged away by Hajime. After they were forcibly escorted from of the infirmary, you lied back down onto bed and sighed. You really had your work cut out for yourself but working with these guys it definitely wasn't boring.
