"I was the last person to talk to her"
"Well, what time was that?"
"Uh- I don't know, I was already tipsy when I called her"
Billy mumbles a curse as he pushes off of his car, throwing his smoke down before he steps on it. He moves to the driver's side and nods his head toward the passenger door.
"Get in, we'll go to her house" Billy states, already slamming his door shut before I can answer. I comply and get in without another word, letting him speed us out of the street. I grip onto the door handle, my body pressed back in my seat as he races down the empty streets.
"Thank god I was out cold when you drove me last night" I say over the music blaring from his speakers, he just shrugs, barely responding as he continues to drive. How did Sapphire date this dick. The car jolts before it stops completely, causing me to praise the lord internally. Billy pulls the keys out of the ignition before he opens his door and sets one leg out.
"Hold on, shouldn't I go check?" He ducks down when he hears me interject.
"Why?" He questions me.
"Well considering Steve is in there and he isn't your biggest fan-- I think it's better for me to go and check" I state, causing him to roll his eyes.
"I don't care about dip shit Steve" He says before he slams the door shut and makes his way up to the front door. I exhale heavily before shoving my door open and following after him. He knocks on the door a few times, and when no one answers, he starts to ring the door bell harshly.
"Jesus-" Steve says as he pulls open the door. He's only wearing boxers and he looks tired as shit. I offer him a sympathetic smile as he eyes us out, a confused and tired look on his face as he waits for us to say something.
"Is Saph home?" I ask him.
"What the hell man? Did you have to come knocking on my door to ask that-- we have a phone for a reason" Steve argues, causing Billy to let out a frustrated groan.
"Steve-- buddy, just answer the question" He snaps, causing Steve to shake his head in disbelief.
"You don't get to call me buddy. Why the hell are you even here, Sapphire shouldn't be anywhere near you" Steve snides.
"Trust me, your sister wants to be near me"
"You're an asshole, you know that?"
"Seriously, this whole brother boyfriend enemy act is getting old" I sigh out as I push past Steve and make my way up the stairs, calling out Sapphire's name as I make my way down the hallway.
"She's here man, she's probably just sleeping" Steve says as he follows me down the hallway. I ignore him and open her bedroom door, revealing an empty room and a done up bed. I let out a heavy sigh and run my hand through my hair.
"She's not here" I mumble.
"I swear she was in here-- I saw her last night" Steve says as he enters her room, inspecting her bed and vanity before he stands in front of the window. He hums as he nods his head before he turns back to face me.
"Well my car is missing-- so that explains why Saph is also missing" Steve mutters, causing Billy to roll his eyes.
"Of course you would dumb enough to not notice her leave in your car" Billy comments, earning a dirty look from Steve.
"You know what, I didn't give you permission to enter the house. Animals stay outside dick"
"You two need to stop with the bickering! Sapphire is missing and right now she should be our main priority. So if we're going to try and find her, the two of you need to put your shit behind you" I exclaim, instantly shutting the both of them down.
