Terminus. Sanctuary for all. Community for all. Those who arrive, survive.

"Sounds like a load of shit." A shot fired from a pistol, piercing right between the eyes of a walker. Green eyes looked back at the sign posted near the tracks. "No such thing as community for all." The male shifted his weight and wished he had a cigarette or anything to take the edge off of constantly being hunted by the dead.

"Might be worth a shot."

The slender green eyed male looked down at his sixteen year old companion. The young male was sitting on the tracks, a dirty blade in one hand and a white rag in the other. His hair was in need of a cut and was constantly falling into the boys eyes and tickling his neck. "Might be able to trade her for something good," the boy shrugged and wiped his blade on his jeans. "Whadaya say David?"

Thirty one year old David ruffled his dirty blonde hair and sighed, unable to deny his friend's suggestion. "Maybe, but I mean a place shouting about sanctuary for all might not be into our kind of trading."

Travis chuckled. For being fifteen years younger than his leader and mentor at times he was much smarter. "It won't go down like one of those trades." Those trades. Where they met weary men craving a woman's flesh. Sometimes it would just be one man, maybe two, or even twenty though it never mattered. Some had heard of them before. The traders, David and Travis. They had begun building up a reputation with the pigs that were still alive. Weapons, food, ammo, shelter- it could all be got with one good trade. Unfortunately this business wasn't enough to survive on, especially with the scarcity of survivors willing to trade with them.

Travis placed his knife back in its holster. "If they're good people then maybe they'll trade us just to set her free. I mean look at her, she does look pretty pathetic. Those people might pity her and make us a nice trade."

David lifted his pistol once more, aiming at a walker that had heard his previous gun shot and followed the noise. "No harm in tryin. Just hope we can get her off our hands soon." The gun fired, the bullet hitting its mark and the walker dropping to the ground. "Should have nabbed that black girl too, or even the short haired bitch. Been a long time since we got a catch, should have gotten at least two."

"I dunno, I like this one. Doesn't have much fight in her and I mean she's decent lookin probably be prettier if she was clean and didn't look so, I dunno, lonely?"

"Lonely?" David laughed and put his gun away. It was time to get moving again before any more walkers started showing up. "I don't care what she looks like, long as she gets us something good."

The two men walked to the nearby silver truck that, while covered in mud, was in excellent condition. "Hey princess," David banged on the side of the truck, peering into the bed, "You still alive?" The female was lying on her side, her hands and feet tied with rope and her hair a windswept mess. Her mouth was gagged and face marked with small cuts and bruises from her capture. She barely moved, shifting only a little when she heard the male voice and felt the truck vibrate from his palm hitting the metal.

Travis opened up the passenger side of the car, ready to seat himself down for the drive before a question popped in his head. "Hey, what her group call her again? Angel or somethin?"

"Fuck, what was it? Somethin different." David stared at the almost lifeless human being lying in the bed of the truck and tried to think back to when they took her. Think back to the name her three comrades were shouting before they were overpowered. "Arden," he whispered, hitting the truck once more in excitement, "Name's Arden!" And at that the woman moved, turning her head to meet the eyes of her captor who simply winked at her before disappearing to the cab of the truck.
