Chapter twenty: planning ahead

"Dumbass get up. We've got half an hour to get there." Katsuki snarled as he threw the full backpack at you harshly and stormed towards the hallway. He suddenly stopped and whipped back around when he heard you scream. "Why are you screaming?" He shot back slightly confused.

you where now in a press-up position, wide eyed and staring at your friend. "I HAVE TO DROP OTIS OVER AT MY AUNTS! SHE LIVES LIKE TWO MILES FROM HERE!" You screamed shrilly as you jumped to your feet. Katsuki's eyes widened in realisation before he rushed through the door and practically jumped down the whole length of the staircase.

You also started running, bumping the same spot of your leg into the table yet again. You cursed once again as you slung your backpack over your shoulders and slid down the banister.

Katsuki already had Otis on his lead and was heading out of the door. You snatched your phone and house keys from he kitchen countertop before forcing your feet into your shoes and sliding out of the door and locking it behind you both.

You started running wildly in the opposite direction of your normal path to school, Otis taking the lead. At least he was having a good time. He was panting wildly with his tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth. Katsuki was surprisingly keeping up with the dog, even with his large bag hanging from his shoulder.

You on the other hand weren't making it look so easy, you where sprinting as fast as you could whilst trying to fix your tie. Your socks where slowly falling down and your creased blazer was tied around your waist.

You finally got to the door of your aunts house. You slammed your fist into the doorbell and leaned against the doorframe as you tried to regain your breath. Katsuki was leaned over with his hands on his knees. His uniform was almost as scruffy as yours from the running. Otis was still panting but was wagging his tail so hard his whole body shook.

"Hello y/n! Finally here to drop off my favourite member of the family- oh? Y/n dear, is this your boyfriend?" She playfully nudged you as she stared at Katsuki who had now regained his breath and was ruffling the top of Otis' head.

"NO!" you screamed as you ripped the lead away from the red eyed boy and tossed it into your aunts hands. "We're going to be late thanksfotakinghimbye!!" You shouted as you grabbed Katsuki's wrist and started running again.

You looked down at your watch and groaned in frustration. "We aren't going to make it in time!" You yelled into the sky. Katsuki tugged against your hold on his arm causing you to jolt to a stop.

"Get on." He grumbled angrily as he squatted slightly In front of you, offering his back.

"Won't that take even longer? Besides I'm wearing a skirt!" You cried out in embarrassment.

"DON'T CARE! GET ON OR I'LL LEAVE YOUR SORRY ASS BEHIND!" he roared out as he rolled up his sleeves. You reluctantly climbed onto his back and wrapped your arms around his neck.

"All right what noOOOOWWW!" Your question was cut short as Katsuki thrust he hands behind you both and used his explosions to rocket blast you both into the sky. Health and safety completely out of the window.

The school was finally within reach as you both zoomed above the rest of the world. The last few students where climbing onto the bus as you arrived. "Wait!" You called out breathlessly as you practically pushed yourself away from your friend, falling from a few feet up as he made his explosive descent. 

Aizawa gave you both a heavy scolding before allowing you onto the bus, you threw your bags in with the rest of your classes luggage before finding a few seats at the back of the bus. Katsuki took the window seat and you slumped down next to him.
