~Harry's POV~

"Where are we going?" I whine as Draco drags me by the hand out of the castle. It was a wintery Saturday afternoon, about a month after the Hufflepuff situation. Being close to lunchtime, my stomach growled as I follow Draco down the path.

"You'll see." He says without turning around. I roll my eyes but allow myself to be dragged. When we reach the edge of the path, he stops and turns to face me.

"Why'd we stop? Are we there?" I ask. Draco beams and shakes his head.

"Not quite, but I need you to close your eyes." I quirk an eyebrow. "Just trust me." He pleads. I sigh and close my eyes as Draco continues to drag me off somewhere. I try to imagine where we're going as we walk. Right, no left... Which way was it again? I give up and just let myself wonder where I'm being taken.

Eventually, Draco slows to a stop. I feel Draco grab both of my hands and suddenly, there's a pair of lips against mine. I kiss back, leaning in to the familiar feeling of Draco's soft lips against my chapped ones. When we pull apart, I can't help but smile.

"Okay, you can open your eyes now." Draco says softly. I do and what I see makes me blush. There's a blanket thrown out in a dry patch underneath the bare oak tree and a basket placed on top of it. I turn to Draco amazed.

"Did you set this up?" I ask in awe. He nods and leads me to sit down.

"I asked the house elves to make some food so we could have lunch out here. Do you like it?" Draco says simply. I smile and throw my arms around him.

"It's perfect." I say genuinely.

We spent our time talking and eating. The basket contained all of my favorite foods. Draco laughs as he watches me scarf down the last Treacle Tart. I move to lay on Draco once I finish eating.

I'd have to say that both of us were doing better now. Since that day in the hospital wing, neither of us has broken our promise. Draco is there with a sneer and a comeback if anyone tries to hurt me and I've been helping him look for a way to remove the Dark Mark.

Our friends have been a huge help too. I talked to Hermione about my problem. She told me she was sorry she didn't notice sooner and that she would always be there for me. The Slytherins and Gryffindors have spent more time together recently. Pansy and Blaise are fun to hang out with. Even Ron and Draco have put aside their differences and- dare I say it- become friends.

I sigh contently as Draco plays with my hair. I have everything I could ever hope for. After sitting in silence for a while, Draco sits up from underneath me and pulls me up with him. I stand staring into his beautiful grey eyes until he leans in for another kiss.

I quickly melt against his touch and wrap my arms around his neck. I feel his hands gently grab my waist and pull me closer. It sends a shiver down my spine and I knot my hands in his silvery hair. I feel a nip at my bottom lip and it makes me gasp. Draco takes this opportunity to slide his tongue into my mouth. He moans slightly and it is the most beautiful sound I've ever heard. This feels good. It feels right.

And I'm so glad to have him in my life.

After a while, we pull apart for air, beaming widely at each other. He pulls me into an embrace and I bury my head against his chest.

"Harry?" I hear Draco whisper.

"Hmmm?" I say in response while moving to look up at him. He bites his lip nervously but then meets my gaze.

"We've never really made it official, so I wanted to ask: Will you be my boyfriend?" He furrows his eyebrows and gives a small smile. It feels like a balloon is being blown up inside my chest. My heart explodes and I think this is the happiest I've ever been. I cup his face with my hands and bring him down for another kiss. When we pull apart, a grin splits my face.

"Yes!" I exclaim while nodding and trying not to cry tears of joy. Draco's face lights up again and he kisses all over my face, finally resting on my lips. It's a sweet and passionate kiss that makes me wish it never had to end when we pull apart. Draco smiles knowingly and casts a quick spell that makes the picnic disappear. Once it's all cleaned up, he grabs my hand and leads me back up to the castle.

We decide that we want to be alone, so instead of walking to either of our dormitories, we head to the Room of Requirement. The door appeared before the us and we snuck inside, unnoticed as the hall was deserted. Instead of the small white room that had been here last time, the room was much larger with green, silver, red, and gold decorations throughout it. I led Draco over to a couch that had appeared and we decide to get comfortable there.

As I'm laying down on Draco's chest, I remember that classes would be ending soon and I wasn't sure what Draco was doing for the holidays.

"Hey Draco?" I turn around to face him and blush a bit at the position. He notices and smirks but doesn't say anything about it.

"Yes?" He asks.

"What are you going to do for the holidays?" He seems to think for a moment then moves his shoulders as if to shrug.

"I dunno. What were you planning to do?" He returns the question. I honestly hadn't thought about it. I normally go to the Weasley's for Christmas. Would they be okay if Draco came with?

"I-I'm not sure, but I want to spend them with you." I decide. He chuckles and sits up on the couch.

"I want to spend it with you too." He says quietly while pulling me closer. I snuggle up against him and he mutters into my hair. "I don't really want to go back to Malfoy Manner though." I smile sympathetically even though he can't see it.

"Well, we could ask Ron if we could come to the Burrow for Christmas." I suggest. Draco raises his eyebrows hopefully, but then frowns.

"I'm not sure that's the best idea." He says sadly.

"Hey, look at me." I turn his chin so that he looks at me with sad eyes. "I know that your families have been rivals for quite some time, but you are a different person from your father. The Weasleys are the closest thing I have to a family and they're the most kind-hearted and forgiving people I've ever met. I'm sure that they will have no problem with you joining us this year, as a friend of Ron and Hermione and as my boyfriend." I say decisively. This makes him smile a bit.

"You think?" He asks, still a bit unsure.

"I know." I say earnestly. The Weasleys are my family, and I want Draco to be a part of it. I give him a reassuring smile which he returns with a kiss. We decide to ask Ron about it tomorrow and then send an owl to Mrs. Weasley.

We lay next to each other, talking until past curfew. Not wanting to be caught out of bed, we curl up against each other and close our eyes to sleep.

I drift off to sleep, happy that after all these years, I can call Draco Malfoy my boyfriend.

Who doesn't like official?

I *think* this may be the end...

I will either write another chapter or just an epilogue, I'm not sure yet. I guess you guys will see before I do though.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed reading and have a wonderful day!
