The casino lights flashed on the glass windows of the cab Jay was riding in. His fathers black trench, his mothers silver necklace, and hand clutched over his five year savings.

Jay was shaking despite the warm air as he stepped out of the cab. He swiped a few strands of his newly black dyed hair styled with gel. The casino stud in front of him, ominous even with multi colored lights flashing about.

Tonight he prove himself as his own, and not part of his fathers doing. Tonight he would get the future he deserves.

He grabbed the door handles and pushed inside to his fate.

Jay had no knowledge of gambling, but play nothing more than what you have for a non risky road to riches.

Instead of diving strait in, Jay veered to the left towards the bar. He sat down and observed the closest game. With in a few seconds, Jay was lost. This wasn't the first time Jay attempted this. Well not at small gigs farther outside of town. Nothing this big. But despite that, he was determined to get everything tonight.

So deep into thought, he didn't notice the figure that slid onto the stool beside him. That was until his thought were interrupted by a voice.

"I don't think I've ever seen someone so focused on a game in my life," they remarked.

Jay shook his head and looked up. They were like nobody he had ever see in his life. He had a white dress shirt half unbuttoned reveling a toned chest, his grey coat was hanging low on his shoulders with tan skin peeking out, ears pierced to hell, multiple rings and chokers, and deep brown eyes. Don't forget the small grin gracing his face.

Jay choked on his spit.

"I'm so sorry," Jay apologized immediately. The ginger headed angle of a man just chuckled.

"You my friend, need a drink," he said while signaling a waiter.

"Oh it's fine, I don't really drink." Jay was quick to say.

"Every one knows you can't play without at least three shots, please let me provide it." He said while pushing a glass of alcohol towards Jay.

"Please, you don't have to spend anything on me, I can pay for-"

"Flattery won't get you a penny in this place, now drink, my treat," he cut in, beckoning me to drink.

"Thank you," Jay mustered out. No one had ever stepped into Jays life like this one, let alone buy a twenty buck drink on him like it was nothing.

While Jay slowly sipped at the vial drink, he examined the man next to him. If he was to call anyone hot over handsome, it was this guy. The mans eyes wandered over the crowed life a hawk over its prey witch was somewhat unnerving.

"I don't think I've seen you around here before," the ginger said while swigging at the third glass of alcohol.

"I don't come here...," Jay paused to lay out his reply, "often," he finished. He placed the glass on the counter and averted his eyes to across the room to where mystery man was gazing at.

A game had gathered a large crowed and were cheering at random intervals. What seemed to be the main player had a very concerning match of clothing to the man beside Jay.

"I'm if you don't mind me asking, who is that?" I asked quietly to mystery man.

He lowered the glass from his lips and locked eyes with Jay.

"You don't come here at all do you?" He asked.

Jay wavered under his intense gaze and looked at the ground, "I've actually never done real gambling without guidance."

"Ahh that makes sense then," the ginger nodded and set his glass down.

"How about a round with a true expert, one that can show you how to really gamble and get that future you want,"

Jays head shot up, "how did you know?"

"You left not the first person to walk in the biggest casino in all the city with absolutely no experience," he remarked.

"You don't know that," Jay acted like he wasn't effected by the mans claim.

"It's all over you, admit it, your life is sad and you need to get off the ground," the man said while placing a hand on Jays shoulder.

This was what Jay had wanted but how had this stranger unravel home with just a few sentences and send him down the hill of regret. Maybe it was the drink, or the experience because there was no way he just guessed out of luck.

"Listen, I can buy you thing, just trust me. It's not often I make these deals," the man said, holding his hands up in honesty.

Jay bit his lip, mind in a deep turmoil of trusting a stranger or stick to the path on no risk.

"I-" Jay was cut off yet again by a honey like voice from behind him.

"Sorry to intrude on this conversation but me and my partner have to go," the person from behind Jay said.

"Well sorry I couldn't help you, but your welcome for the drink," mystery man patted Jays shoulder and disappeared into the crowed.

I turned to the waiter who was picking up the empty glasses while realizing his question wasn't answered.

"Who was that?" Jay pointed towards the crowd. The women looked at me with concern in her eyes.

"You don't know?"

"Can you just tell me?!"

"Rowan, one out of three of the riches people in the whole of America, one of the big three."
