I wake up the next morning super excited for my date I realise that I need to forget my feelings for Josh before I fall for him. I check my phone as it wouldn't shut up for the last 10 minutes.

Y/n: You guys woke me up
Charli 🖤: Good
Mads 🦋: Get dressed
Addison 👑: Send a picture of your outfit , I wanna see it
Y/n: Avani do you know what I'm suppose to be wearing
Avani 👸: Go something cute but able to skate in
Mads 🦋: He's a skater boi
Y/n: Here's my outfit

Mads 🦋: I love it
Avani 👸: Damn he's gonna be impressed
Addison 👑: I love the jacket girl
Y/n: Ok he should be here in 10
Avani 👸: Mads come over and then y/n can come after her date
Mads 🦋: Ok
Y/n: Bye girls
Addison 👑: Enjoy

I look at the clock and see it's 10 o' clock all the boys are swimming in the pool so I go to the first door and wait. I text Lewis that I'm excited for our date.

Lewis

Hey
What time are you picking me up?
Hello it's been 10 minutes
Lewis?
I'm ready
What are we doing today
Hello
Lewis
Come on just answer your phone

Josh's POV
I'm walking around upstairs as I go past y/n's bedroom. The door is open but her phone has gone and she never leaves without her phone. I think maybe that she's gonna out with the girls but she would normally say something. I'm going to pick up some food for us boys when I see her sat on the door step looking worried. She's texting someone whilst looking around the street it's 10:30 and she looks like she's gonna cry. I sit beside her and embrace her in a hug.

Y/n's POV
I can't believe it I got stood up. I feel like an idiot for believing this would help me get over Josh I can feel tears in my eyes when someone sits beside me and embraces me a hug. I hug back and in this persons arms I feel safe. I feel like I belong in this persons arms. I look up and see Josh. He's smiling at me almost saying it's ok I'm here without even having to say the words.
Josh: Ok what's wrong
Y/n: What do you mean?
Josh: Well a girl doesn't just sit on the door step looking worried and texting someone
Y/n: Well this girl does
Josh: Well this guy doesn't believe it
Y/n laughs at Josh's comment
Josh: See there's that smile now let's go
Y/n: Where
Josh: Ice cream
Y/n: Ok let's go

*Ice cream parlour*
Waiter: Oh hey there what can I get you guys
Josh: Well I'll have a mint chocolate chip milkshake
Y/n: I'll have the brownie fudge ice cream
Waiter: Ok your total is $7
Y/n: Ok
Josh: Here
Y/n: I'll pay
Josh: Nope I've just paid
Y/n: Ugh fine
Waiter: Go take a seat and I'll bring it over
Josh: Ok so tell me who left you waiting
Y/n: Wait what
Josh: I'm not stupid and I know you better than you think
Y/n: Fine Avani set me up on a date with her sisters friend
Josh: And he left you waiting
Y/n: Yeah I regret accepting it
Josh: Well if he hadn't have stood you up you wouldn't be here eating I've cream with yours truely
Y/n: Is that such a bad thing
Josh: Hey *playfully hits her arm*
Y/n: Oww now I'm gonna cry cause I'll have a bruise
Josh: Sowwy y/n
Y/n: I-I um
OMG josh doing that baby voice was the cutest thing I've ever seen. I couldn't help but blush slightly I used my hair to cover it though. I'm so glad I'm here with Josh and he cares a lot to take me out for I've cream just to find out why I was upset. I think I regret trying to get over him as I think I've already fallen for Josh Richards. Whilst I'm mid though I see Josh taking pictures

I run up to Josh and give him a massive hug. I appreciate him so much and he helped me so much today. I'm glad I'm back in LA and I'm glad I'm back with Josh. I go inside the house with Josh and we both go to our rooms. I'm so happy I fall onto my bed and stare at the ceiling. I'm grinning like the Cheshire Cat but I just can't help it.

Josh's POV
I enter my room and I'm so happy. Even though y/n got ditched at least I was the one to put a smile on her face. I'm so happy and I'm glad y/n could hang out today. We had so many laughs and it felt like old times. I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling and all I can think about is y/n. I mean her smile has been keeping me happy and I'm glad she's back in LA. Seeing her today and hanging out was incredible. I can't believe how trusting she is of me especially after I gave her up for Nessa. I think I might like y/n and oh no I like her. What if she doesn't feel the same? What if Jaden stops being friends? Ugh I'm so confused right now. I need to sleep just to forget about this and it will all be gone in the morning, right?
