We arrived in front of a huge building. Today we'd be taking of provisional license exam. I was kind of excited about the test. Katsuki and I stood side by side at the front of the building. Aizawa was talking to us about how the exam would work. I didn't really pay attention, but I probably should have. I was going to do my absolute best out there.
For a bit, I was just lost in my thoughts. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a very familiar name. "You know it's very rude to barge into other people's huddles Inasa," A purple-haired kid said.
"Inasa!" I yelled with wide eyes. "I am so very extremely sorry!" He yelled while shoving his head into the dirt. Everyone seemed taken aback but I laughed at his antics.
"Who is this guy? I do not trust his enthusiasm," Kaminari questioned. Katsuki seemed confused when I ran up to the larger boy. "It's been a while," I said with excitement.
"You went to Shiketsu didn't you," I said with a simile. Shiketsu was the other famous hero school, on the east. Inasa was bleeding from the head, all while yelling.
Inasa walked away from the other class, and I went back to Katsuki. "Who was that?" he grumbled. "That was Inasa, we met at the entrance exam." "He's strong," Aizawa started. "He is the second-ranked recommended in the country, right under (l/n), for some unknown reason, he did not except his acceptance into U.A."
I looked over at Todoroki. He looked uneasy, I could only assume it was because of Inasa. I know the two didn't get off on the right foot. I was lost in thought, only to be pulled out by a high pitched voice.
"Eraser? I know that scowl anywhere!" A green-haired, middle-aged woman yelled. "I saw you on TV and at the sports festival, but It's been a while since we've been this close in person," She continued in a happy tone.
Mr. Aizawa looked horrified or disgusted as she advanced. "Is that his girlfriend?" I giggled to Katsuki, "How the fuck am I supposed to know?" he growled, but you could clearly tell he was amused.
"Let's get married," She said casually, "No," He answered nonchalantly. "You a real laugh riot buddy," She heaved, our teacher kept a straight face the entire time. "As usual, you're impossible, Joke," he grumbled.
Midoryia, as expected, began to fanboy. I sighed and turned my attention to my blonde-haired friend. "SO what do you think they're going to have us do?" I questioned before he got a chance to answer, a student from another school approached us.
"Hey, I'm Shindo, it seems like U.A. has had a lot of trouble this year, must have been tough for you," A black-haired version of Midoryia spoke, he grabbed my hand when he spoke.
"Get your dirty hands off of her," Katsuki growled. Kirishima smirked and punched his shoulder, but I ignored them. "Y-Yeah," I replied, he then moved over to Kamainari.
"Looks like someone got a bit jealous," I heard Kirishima snicker, "Who got jealous?" I asked cluelessly. "No one," I heard Katsuki growl, he shot Kirishima a glare, and he snickered.
"Tell me," I whined, "No one is fucking jealous," He growled again. After a bit of prodding, Katsuki wouldn't budge. I was stubborn, like really stubborn, but there was no way this boy was going to tell me.
"and Bakugou, it must have been especially hard for you with that kidnapping incident, I'm going to do my best to learn from you, I really hope you don't mind," Shindo said.
Katsuki slapped his hand away in response, "Stop pretending, what you say doesn't match the look in your eyes," He growled. Shindo left us alone after that, I wish I could say the same for the other kids.
A bubbly girl ran up to me, right after Todoroki. She asked for an autograph but I stood there frozen. "Hey, get your costumes on and head to orientation, there's no time to waste," Aizawa growled. We complied and got our suits.
We were getting into our costume and were in a huge room. I'm not really sure what to call it, I just know that's where we are going to get our information.
"Ok, let's get this thing started, I'm, from, uh, the heroes public safety commission," A man, even more, tired than Aizawa said. He briefly explained how the exam would work.
I put on my targets and waited. Since I am a top-recommended student, this should be easy. The building opened up and we got started. My plan was simple, I would just blood bend a few people, simple.
We got started. Midoryia wanted the whole class to stick together, but that wasn't in my plans. "(y/n), Where are you going?" He yelled, "I have a plan, and you guy aren't apart of it," I said before running off.
It took a bit to find people. I needed two, not a whole group. Most people were still a whole class, so it would be hard. Sooner rather than later, I found two students.
I bloodbended one, and they got out. The second changed towards me, but they were too late. I got them out, and just like that, I was finished. The loudspeaker came on and announced that the first student had passed.
On my way in, I saw a very shocked Midoryia. He looked surprised that I had already passed. While coming in, a second person passed. Looking over, I saw Inasa walking beside me.
"Did you pass?" I asked, trying to confirm it. He nodded his head and we walked in. I walked in with Inasa, we were the only two to pass so far. "I saw what do did back there, that was really cool," I said to Inasa as we waked. He thanked me and just continued to catch up.
Inasa and I were pretty good friends. I never got his number so we didn't talk since the exam, but we were still cool with each other. About fifteen munites later, a few more people began to pass. Towards the end, our whole class had passed. Inasa and I were still talking, when I felt a hand wrap around my wrist. Katsuki pulled me away without hesitation. I tried to pull away but he wouldn't let me.
"What the hell is your problem!" I yelled at him. "Don't hang around these extras," He mumbled, "Why do you care!?" I yelled again. It looked like he was about to answer my question, but he went silent.
I sighed, knowing full well that there was no way to get out of his grip. We walked over to Kirishima and Kaminari. Once they saw us, they burst out in laughter.
"What's your problem?" Katsuki growled the two boys. "I think you know," They laughed in sync. He looked confused, then gasped with wide eyes. He stomped off with the two boys to talk, and then they came back.
The 100 people had passed and we were waiting for the next part of the exam to start. A bell sounded and the next exam was explained. The walls dropped again and the second half of the exam began.
I won't get into the detail, but basically, I went to rescue people with Katsuki. Kirishima and Kaminari followed behind us like dogs. Right from the beginning, Katsuki wasn't doing so well. I would be lying if I said I didn't lose some points.
Noting too interesting happened for the rest of the test. It turns out, I did pretty well. I passed, but I wish I could say the same for Katsuki. He seemed really pissed when his name didn't show up on the board.
We finished and went back to the dorms on the bus. I sat with Kirishima and we talked about the exam, but Katsuki was still in a bad mood for the rest of the time.
The night went the same as usual. We were almost done our summer vacation, and I couldn't be happier to head back to school.
Word count: 1327
A/N: I haven't gotten a chance to post or write lately but I'm glad I finally got a chapter up. I think that once I'm done with this book and the others I'm planning on writing, I'm going to try and write an Outer Banks AU.
