Gladion and Ash's New Adventure

"Okay then, do you know what I'm thinking right now?" Burnet asked.

"What...uhm.." Kukui trailed off.

"Maybe that's too hard." Burnet concluded.

"I know!"

"Really? Then tell me."

"Um...it's just..... uh." Professor Kukui stuttered out.

"You don't have a clue, do you?" She remarked, laughing slightly.

"Why not just admit it and give up, Kukui?"

"No, not yet!" Kukui protested.

"What I'm thinking about right now is-" The two professors switched sides.

"I chose you!" Burnet glared at the Pokéball in Kukui's hand before he opened it.

"May I, chose you?"

Back at the house, Ash and his Pokémon helped put dishes away. That is until Rowlet fell off of the shelf.

"Not again, Rowlet. If you're going to sleep, don't fall. If you're going to fall, sleep somewhere lower." Ash said as he picked up the sleeping grass type, dropping his crutches.

"Pi, Pika Pika?" Pikachu squeaked as it got on Ash's shoulder.

"Hey Professors, Rowlet fell again." Ash said as the grass type slept soundly on his shoulder

"We want to talk to you about something." Professor Burnet said as the other Pokémon approached.

"Here we go, Pikachu, Litten, Riolu, Rotom, Lycanroc, Munchlax, and Rowlet too." Both Professors sighed deeply.

"You're getting married!" Rotom squealed.

Ash's eyes lit up with excitement. "That's great Professors!" Mallow, Lana, and Lillie were all so excited to hear about the engagement.

"So, do you have any idea when the wedding is?" Kiawe asked, making the girls squeal even louder.

"Wedding dress, wedding rings, wedding bouquet toss." The girls marveled.

"The professors said they aren't hosting a wedding." The girls faces turned from happiness into shock.

"What if we give them a present! We can plan the wedding for them!" Mallow suggested, everyone agreeing to her plan.

"Alright, Olivia said she would be happy to attend the wedding." Kiawe conformed, Lana shuddering at the memory.

"Principal Oak was also happy to officiate the wedding." Sophocles added.

"We have the menu ready, right dad?" Mallow said, turning to her dad for conformation.

"Yup! We have a special menu for Professor Kukui and his fiancé." Mallow's father smiled back.

"We also had Nina make her special Alolan pancakes!" Mallow cheered. "The professors have no idea about this, right?" Ash nodded his head to Mallows question. The group cheered happily.

"Chaaa~" the electric mouse yawned while the group cheered happily.

"I'm gonna go on a quick walk." Ash said, motioning for Pikachu to crawl up on his shoulder.

Everyone waited for Ash to leave before speaking again.

"Alright, that's not the only thing we're planning." Sophocles smirked as the others agreed.

"Lillie, you know your brother has a big fat crush on Ash." Mallow reminded.

"Yeah, which is why we're doing this as well!" Lillie cheered happily.

Meanwhile with Ash and Pikachu.

"Isn't it great Pikachu, we're having a wedding for the professors tomorrow." Ash said to his Pokémon.

"Pika!" The Pokémon cried happily.

"Yeah, it sure is pretty out-" Ash complimented the night sky before tripping over one of his crutches. Making Pikachu cry in alarm.

"Pikapi!"

"I'm fine Pikachu, I can walk." Ash attempted to get up before hissing in pain. "Okay maybe I can't get up."

The sound of the ground rumbling was enough to get Pikachu in a worried mood.

"Pikachu, run! I'll be fine." Ash commanded, Pikachu refusing to leave his trainers side.

"Pika!" Pikachu cried in alarm as a slit in the sky appeared, a Pokémon flying out of it.

"Oh god." Ash muttered under his breath, remembering that was the same Pokémon that put him under control. Pikachu was sparking his cheeks, growling at the Ultra Beast.

"Pikachu, stand down! If we attack it, it will most likely attack back!" Ash commanded, his Pikachu giving him a concerned look.

For once, Pikachu disobeyed his trainer and attacked. The Ultra Beast roared before making Pikachu go flying across the beach.

Ash tried to get up, but the pain from his unhealed leg was too much to handle as he collapsed one more time.

He watched as the Ultra Beast came closer, ready to control him one more time. He closed his eyes to avoid eye contact with the Pokémon.

"Silvally, Air Slash!"
