"I remember that you tried to prove that you could dance as well as he could, by dragging me up onto the small dance floor and swinging me around; you are so cute when your jealous." (Y/n) told him, as she looked up from her work.
"I remember how you held me close, and spoken sweet words in Spanish into my ear as we danced; and I remember how you walked me back to my apartment, like the gentleman that you are." (Y/n) hummed happily, as she carefully snipped a wire.
"Do you remember our first real kiss?" Galgo asked, trying desperately not to move when he heard the devise under his foot make a strange crackling noise.
"I remember that old Mrs. Esposito from next door ruined everything, I remember how she looked you up and down, and commented on the fact you are older than me." (Y/n) said, slowly unscrewing the top plate from the mechanism.
"I also remember that if she hadn't interfered, then you would have got lucky that night." (Y/n) told the man above her, trying not to laugh when he groaned as he remembered that a mission had got in the way, and he had had to wait weeks before they could have any time together again.
"You were worth the wait." Galgo said, smiling as he thought about their first night together, wrapped in each other's arms, underneath the light sheets of (Y/n)'s bed.
"So were you baby." (Y/n) replied, smiling as she thought about the frantic fumbling as they had both tried to undress as quickly as possible, how he had wooed her in Spanish as he made love to her, and how she had slept happily in his arms until the next morning.
(Y/n) sat up, wiping the sweat from her hands onto her pants, before she blew on them in an attempt to ease the cramp in her fingers.
"Galgo, I need you to keep quiet for a minute, ok? I really need to concentrate." (Y/n) said, almost pleading to the man she loved.
"I need to ask you something first......... I need to know, just in case......... just in case the worst does happen." Galgo told her, as he brushed the hair away from her face.
"I need to know if you will do me the honour of being my wife. After I lost my team in Benghazi, I thought my life was over, I had lost my family, and everything I knew; but then I found Barney and the others, who gave me back a reason to carry on, but when I met you, I found a reason to live again. Te amo (Y/n). I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So? Will you marry me?" Galgo asked, looking down at the shocked woman.
"I er........ I......" (Y/n) said, as her features suddenly grew serious, and she dropped back to the floor to recommence her work on the explosive devise.
"What are you doing?" Galgo asked, slightly confused as (Y/n) began to snip wire after wire.
"If you think that I am going to let the man I am going to marry get blown up, you have another thing coming. Now be quiet old man, and let me work." (Y/n) said, as Galgo smiled realising that she had just accepted his proposal.
The atmosphere around the pair fell deadly silent, the only noise coming as (Y/n) carefully moved away pieces of metal and screws, her fingers nimbly working against the machinery inside the explosive.
(Y/n) wiped the sweat from her brow as she removed one final wire, this wasn't the first device that she had had to disarm without all the real protective clothing; but this was the most important devise that she had ever had to disarm.
"Baby." (Y/n) finally said, attracting Galgo's attention.
"When I say run, I want you to run as quickly as you can towards those trees, don't look back, cos I'll be right next to you." (Y/n) said, as she gently pushed down on the pressure plate that Galgo's foot was one.
"Ok. We go in, three.... two........ one.......NOW!" (Y/n) yelled, as the pair darted for the trees, the devise blowing up mere seconds after they had moved.
As the two fell to the floor, Galgo covered (Y/n)'s head, protecting her from any possible debris as the dust finally settled, leaving (Y/n) and Galgo staring at one another in shock and disbelief.
"I thought you were going to disarm it?" Galgo said with a chuckle, as he pulled (Y/n) into his arms, the pair clinging to one another for dear life.
"And I thought that you could run faster than that old man." (Y/n) said, burying her head into his chest.
"Holy shit....... are you two ok?" Christmas called out, as he and the rest of the team rushed up to the pair on the floor, the boys scanning the area, staring in disbelief at the carnage the one small bomb had caused.
"I've never been better in my life." Galgo said, as he took (Y/n)'s face in his hands and kissed her deeply, knowing that not only was he alive, but he was now going to be able to spend the rest of his life with the woman he loved.
