A Story A Day (COMPLETED)

So, I was browsing my phone the other day and I came across a headline that read "MOJANG CHANGES STUDIO NAME".

For those of you who don't know, Mojang is the studio behind Minecraft and other titles related to it.

When I read this headline, I was a little shocked. Why would they change their name? What did they change the name to? Maybe Minecraft Studios? Maybe?

I clicked on it and there was a video attached. I watched the video and they said something like "Thanks to a stroke of genius, we have changed our name and logo. It was very hard for us to do this but we figured it would be for the best."

And what did they change their name to? DRUM ROLL PLEASE!

Mojang Studios.

Yup. What a name! IT TOOK A STROKE OF GENIUS TO COME UP WITH THAT? I was dumbfounded. Flabbergasted even! I could have come up with that name in 10 minutes!

There is no point in them changing this. Sure they have studios all over the world, but no one is ever EVER going to say "I work at Mojang Studios" they'll say "I work at Mojang"

The ONLY REASON I could give them a slight pass in adding studios to the end of their name is if there was another different product that has the name Mojang. Think of Marvel vs. Marvel Studios. Marvel makes comic books but Marvel Studios makes movies. Makes sense. EVEN THEN, people say they're going to see a Marvel Movie, NOT a Marvel Studios movie.

There was NO REASON for them to change their name. And press cannot be one of them. Minecraft has been the most popular it has ever been in 5 years.

Their logo is meh.
