Tell Me A lie

I wake up the next morning to the sound of my alarm. Dylan has his arm around me. I carefully get out of bed trying not to wake him. I look back at him and can't help but smile. He told me he loved me yesterday. It's not like he's never said it before but it just make me feel better. Knowing that all the time we spend apart is worth every second for when we come together. I walk to the bathroom and brush my teeth. 

I get back and roll Dylan over. He instantly wakes, "Wha-" he starts to say. I kiss him before he can get a word out. I pull away, "Morning" I say. "Lizzie you woke me up for that" he chuckles. I kiss him again, "Okay I have school but pick me up later." He nods his head and shuffles back to his side. "I wasn't complaining" he says.  I get ready for the day. I wear purple sweater, light washed jeans, and white slip-on vans. I grab my bag and open the door. "I love you" I say in a whisper, looking back at him. "I love you too" he whispers back. With a smile I walk out and shut the door. I get downstairs and say good morning to everyone. I grab a muffin from the table and leave. I shut the front door and turn to see Harry in the driveway. I walk to the car and get in. 

"Hi" I say shutting the door. "You look happy" he says with a grin. I put on my seatbelt and try to hide a smile. "I called you yesterday" he adds. I turn to look at him. He laughs "It could've been quite serious." I give him a playful eye roll. We drive to pick up Naomi and then we drive to school. Once first bell rings Anna and I walk to class. "Okay why are you glowing" she smiles. I laugh, "What do you mean." We walk into the room and take our seats. "You're all happy and smiles today, what's up." I open my textbook, "I don't know why I'm so happy but he said I love you yesterday" I say in a whisper covering up with the textbook. "He said what?" she say. "He said I love you" I say again. Her eyes go wide and we both giggle. "Ladies" the teacher says. We look over the book, "Sorry." 

"He said I love you, awww" she says. "I know, I mean he always says it but when he's here it means so much more you know" I try to hide a smile but I can't. "He better not take you away from me" she jokes. I kiss her cheek and put the book down, "He won't" I say. She nods her, "Because I'll be watching him like a hawk." 

"Have you seen Naomi? I haven't seen her since lunch" Harry says as we walked down the hall after the last school bell. I get to my locker and open it. "I haven't either" I say. He holds the small of my back and  brings his head to my ear. I stop what I'm doing and in a whisper he says, "I need to talk to you, do you think I could come over later." As he pulls away Naomi passes both of us without looking back. We both turn to look at her. "Naomi" he shouts. She keeps walking. He turns back to me, "I've got to go but just think about it okay." He rushes to catch up with her. They leave the building. Anna comes up and rest against a locker, "What was that all about." I take my bag and close my locker, "I don't know." 

We walk out to Niall sitting on the curb. "Anna I don't know what just happened but it was weird" he says. Anna sets her bag aside and sits in Niall lap. I see Dylan's car and he turns to smile at me. "Naomi looked upset just before they left do you know why?" she says. "No, but they just took off just now, didn't even know what the rush was" he replies. I tap Anna's head, "Dylan's here, I'm going to go." She kisses my hand, "Okay, bye lizzie." Niall waves, "Bye Lizzie" he says. "Do you think you could check on Naomi" Anna says. I turn back to her, "Yeah I'll stop by see if she's okay." 

Dylan gets out of the car as I approach. He comes over to give me a hug and a kiss. "Hi" I say as I kiss him again. "Have a good day?" he says. I nod as he opens the door. He shuts the door and goes to the other side. We both put out seatbelts on and we drive off. I wave goodbye to Anna and Niall as we drive. "Dylan do you think we could take a quick detour?" I ask. He looks at me and looks back at the road. "Yeah sure, what did you have in mind?" he says. "Naomi house, I just want to check to make sure she's alright, she left in a rush" I say. 

We get to her house and I get out the car. "I'll be right back" I say to Dylan as I shut the door. I walk to the front door and ring the doorbell. Naomi's mom opens the door, "Oh hi Lizzie." I come inside and she gives me a hug. "How are you" she says. "I'm good" I say withe a smile. "You look great" I say. She looks down at her clothe "Oh please" she laughs.

 "I'm sure Naomi will be happy to see you she's upstairs." She shuts the door and I walk upstair, "Thanks." I'm greeted but Naomi younger brother Karan. "Hey Lizzie" he says. "Hey Karan" I reply back. I go over and give him a hug. "I haven't seen you in weeks where have you been" I say. He laughs, "I'm always in the house I just play video games most of the time." He goes downstairs, "Naomi's in here room if you need her." I walk over to Naomi door and knock.
