I scoffed as Jotaro and Josuke finished their fight, Jotaro scaring the girls that had annoyed him in the process.
I looked back to Koichi, his face confused and flustered, he has no idea what's going on. Then again, you were a little shocked too that Jotaro had ended up stopping time again. It's been so long...
"Koichi, I'm sorry that we've caused such a ruckus around here, I'm sure it's got you puzzled, " I apologized. All this from some people he's met today too.
"There's actually another reason we came to see you, " Jotaro said, pulling a couple pictures from his coat. He didn't tell me about this....
"Something is hiding in this town. Something very dangerous is approaching. " Fucking Jotaro... So this trip wasn't just to meet his uncle or explain what he may inherit, but a threat?!
"When Old Man Joseph tried getting a spirit photo of you, he came out with this instead." Jotaro threw down the rest on the pictures he had to Josuke as he crouched. "We're not sure why, but he's probably a stand user. "
Koichi then left your side to take a quick glance at the photos before Jotaro took them up. "This doesn't concern you, but I at least wanted you to get a look at them. You've been warned. "Koichi, if you happen to see him, don't go anywhere near him. Calling the police won't help, just run. " Jotaro turned to Josuke. "Josuke, don't lose your temper and go after him either. You'll get hurt, just like you did a moment ago." Josuke grunting slightly in response.
"Jotaro. " I snapped at him. "Are you fucking kidding m-"
"AH! The entrance ceremony!" Koichi realized, panicking.
Josuke pulled his sleeve to look at his watch. "Ack! Look at the time!" Quickly, the two school boys ran off to school. Thoughts of high school came back to you. It was simpler then.
Sighing, you cross your arms. "Josuke Higashiskata... What a weird guy. " Jotaro spoke out to you.
"He seems nice, albeit a little silly." I gave my opinion.
"And what about his stand?" Jotaro asked, observing his misshaped, but still in tact, hat. The turtle came to mind too, its shell was clean, like nothing ever touched it when Josuke picked it up. Thinking even more, the way the older kid's face morphed after Josuke punched it made you grimace.
"Suppose it could change the state of something, maybe even heal it, with that turtle, but I'm not sure about your hat and that guys face. " I said. Jotaro nodded down at me.
"Thinking of him as a potential ally, he should be reliable, " I added. Josuke, with his healing abilities and strength, was a massive help.
"If you overlook his ridiculous personality, " Jotaro replied.
--------------------------------------------------–-------------
"He most likely became a stand user right before his execution, " said Jotaro. "I'm not sure why, but he's hiding out in this quiet town. " Jotaro finally explained to you, looking over the balcony at the town of Morioh.
I looked down, "I sure would've preferred to know this before I came." I then looked back at him. "Why didn't you tell me before. " I aaked, still agitated that I was a taken to a town where a sick criminal is on the loose. I knew I could protect myself, but just that fact that he didn't tell me made me boil.
"I didn't think it mattered. " Jotaro said, turning around and walking away into the hotel. I have gotten used to Jotaro not caring about most things, but this was serious. I gripped at my pencil skirt in anger.
"Jotaro, I know it doesn't occur to you that most things matter; I've gotten used to that, but forcing me to come to a town with not just a serial killer, no, no, but a stand user as well! " I spat out at him, following him inside.
"I know we can handle this easily but couldn't have you at least fucking told me-" I tried to finish as Jotaro pinned me against the nearest wall, his hand shutting my mouth.
"Jotaro?" I spoke, muffled by his large hand. Furrowing my eyebrows, I start kicking, doing anything to get him off of me, even if all attempts were futile. I even tried using my stand to rip him off.
"This wouldn't have happened if you weren't so fucking annoying, you know that." He snapped at me. "Just be a good girl and follow along. "
Are you fucking kidding me. He then slowly retreated his hand from my mouth. I take a deep breath in. I wanted to fight back but I knew there was no chance I would win. Damn Jotaro and his strong ass.
"Tch. " I spat out, grabbing my bag an darting for the hotel door.
"Where are you going. " He asked.
"For a walk. " I replied. "Maybe then I can calm down and be a 'good girl' " I quoted. I quickly got out of there and practically ran down the stairs.
It didn't take long to make it outside. But the thought of Jotaro following made me frown. He had some sense though, he wouldn't do that.
The town of Morioh was still quite foreign to me. I checked my bag in hopes of map or something, but alas; nothing. I was really just left to wander out. Maybe I can just lose myself and never come back to the hotel.
Wandering off, I find myself in a cool park. School is still in session so there aren't any students. Only a few adults can be seen. Taking seat on a nearby bench, I slide my bag over to my lap.
Inside it is a single photo. A photo of Avdol, Jotaro, Mr Joestar, Iggy, me and, Kakyoin.
"Kakyoin, " I said the name under my breath. I knew it was sick, but I would always imagine being married to him instead, having a child, and everything that should've been good for Jotaro and I.
My feelings for him were unexplainable. It doesn't even feel like he's gone, it's just like I haven't seen him in a while. He'll come back though, I know he will. He always did for me.
The whole marriage between you and Jotaro had been a sham. Had it not been for Jolyne, I would've ran away, but I thought that it would've been better for Jolyne to have a whole family rather than just Jotaro.
I gripped the photo in my hands as it grew wet from the tears that fell down my cheeks. I just got by with Jotaro. I didn't do anything to stop it. I did this to myself.
Maybe there could've been a time where I'd have been married to someone else and all my comrades were still with us.
