"Why the fuck are you here?" Yuqi spat. The girls were now facing each other, perpendicular to the mirror of the bathroom.

"That was straightforward." Xiao smirked, while Yuqi stood firmly. She had an inkling that something was gonna happen to her, but she wasn't the same girl from freshman year. This time, she wouldn't back down.

"Cut the bullshit, Xiao. Why are you really here? Don't tell me you wanted to transfer for the hell of it. We both know that's not the case." Yuqi glared at her, her anger from previous years resurfacing at the sight.

"I have my reasons, Yuqi. You know your boundaries, don't you?" Xiao retorted, earning a grunt from Yuqi. Yuqi took a step closer to the girl, who froze for a spilt second.

Believe it or not, that second was important. Yuqi could see a hint of sadness, of regret, in Xiao's eyes. Almost as if her wall that she had built collapsed. As soon as it flashed, Xiao covered it back up, punching Yuqi in the stomach, making her fall to her knees.

"You bitch!" Yuqi hollered, holding onto the edge of the sink, while her shirt was now changing from an off-white into a scarlet red.

"I told you to respect your boundaries." Xiao whispered, and ran out of the bathroom, leaving Yuqi on the ground.

"What an asshole. I can't believe I have to deal with this again." Yuqi sighed, holding her stomach, which now probably had a nasty bleeding bruise.

"I can't even get up. How the fuck am I getting out of here?" Yuqi breathed out, her head spinning. She heard footsteps enter the bathroom, and she tilted her head up to see who it was.

"Yuqi?! Are you alright? Why are you bleeding?" Nayeon asked, rushing over to Yuqi, who's skin had turned a pale white.

"Long story. Can you please take me to the nurse?" Yuqi asked, and Nayeon nodded relentlessly. She carefully managed to lift Yuqi up, wrapping her arm around her shoulder, and taking her to the nurse.

"Long time, no see." Taeyeon smirked, her eyebrows furrowed in curiosity. "Likewise." Yuqi managed to spit out, with one arm around Nayeon's shoulder, and the other holding her stomach.

"Thank you for bringing her here, Nayeon. I'll write you a pass for being late to class." Taeyeon smiled, and Nayeon thanked her, grabbing the pass and leaving for her next class.

"So what happened? You can tell me while I treat the wound." Taeyeon asked, and Yuqi nodded. She sat down on the heightened platform, while Taeyeon stood in front of her, treating her wound.

"I fell, that's all." Yuqi responded, nice and short. The last thing she wanted was for someone to know about what actually happened.

"Listen, Yuqi. I've been trained in my field for about 7 years or so. There's no way that an impact like that came from just a fall. It's too concentrated in one area to just be from a fall." Taeyeon retorted, and Yuqi sighed. "Damn it."

"Whatever you say in here is confidential, trust me. I'm not that friendly with the staff anyways so who would I tell?" Taeyeon added, smiling.

"Someone punched me." Yuqi whispered, and Taeyeon gasped. "This was a mistake." Yuqi thought, averting eye contact with the nurse.

"I don't need to know the details. I just needed to know what happened so I could tell you how to treat the wound. There are different protocols." Taeyeon explained, and Yuqi was relieved. She was glad that Taeyeon didn't care enough to get involved.

"Thank you, Mrs. Kim." Yuqi looked over to the nurse, who laughed. "Call me Taeyeon. I'm not your teacher, so there's no need for the formality." Taeyeon responded, and Yuqi nodded.

"We need to get you out of that shirt, it's stained with blood. I'll wash it at home tonight, but I need you to come back tomorrow so that I can return it to you. For now, I'll give you an extra shirt of mine." Taeyeon stated, and Yuqi denied.

"No, it's ok, trust me—" Yuqi started, but got cut off by Taeyeon. "No buts. Now go change, and I'll give you a pass." Taeyeon rejected, and Yuqi sighed, grabbing the shirt.

"Thank you for your help." Yuqi smiled, and Taeyeon returned it brightly. "Anytime. Regarding what happened, if you need me to get involved, I will. I trust that you will handle this to however you want." Taeyeon responsed, and Yuqi nodded, leaving the office.

It was later that night, and Yuqi just laid down on he bed, sinking into the mattress. Her father had texted her, saying that he was working late, yet again.

Yuqi didn't even respond, she didn't have the power to. It was so disappointing to her; she once knew a man who loved and cared for her and her mother, but the person who she called father was now a complete stranger to her.

"I miss you, mom. I wish you were here to help me." Yuqi sighed, closing her eyes. Her stomach killed, and her heart hurt. After all of these years, she had to deal with the girl who almost ruined her, and for a second time now.

Her phone dinged, but she never read it.
