Learned a Chinese word from my mom and I got inspired hehe

[Wǒ ài nǐ]

"Hey Liang!"A petite boy called out to his friend who was as usual, working out.

Liang stopped doing his complicated pushups and gave the other male a small wave, smiling slightly as well.

Once (m/n) was infront of him, he shoved his (color) phone- Which he won from the tournament- and showed a Chinese drama.

"I like this! Teach me how to understand it!" It wasn't a request, more like a command, something that liang hates to hear but for some reason, (m/n) gets the special treatment of not getting punched to the other side of the world.

"Uh...sure. But why all of a sudden? And why me?" He asked, confused but happy that the shorter boy wanted to spend some time with him.

"I don't like looking at subtitles, it's annoying and I'm asking you since I know Upa won't do it and Qi is probably too stupid to teach me, the guards are all stupid too."

"I HEARD THAT, (M/N)/INMATE!" -Qi & Guards

The two teens just ignored them. "Oh I see. Then when do you want to get started?"

"Right now!"

It's been about 3 months since then and (m/n) had improved greatly. Chinese was said to be hard but with the daily work of writing the complicated Chinese characters and speaking the noddle language, he was able to learn it quickly, well half of it.

Liang was behind his work outs but he didn't mind at all, surprisingly. It was nice spending time with (m/n), even though it could be annoying since the boy was always so loud and cheerful but again, liang didn't mind.

"right! So this means 'You'." Like everyday since 3 months ago, the two had been playing teacher and student.

"Yep. This Character means 'I'." Liang explained, demonstrating on how to write it.

"got it." (M/n) took the brush from Liang's hand, the long haired boy feeling the soft touch from the other's porcelain skin, an almost unnoticeable blush crept on his face.

The Chinese letters of 'you' and 'i' constantly repeating as (m/n) wrote it down like how liang showed.

While the (color) haired male was focused on his task, liang took the chance to think of his complicated feelings.

He's never been the type to understand emotions, being just taught to be strong and all, he never acknowledged to understand them.

So it's understandably confusing for him to not know why his heart keep jumping around when he shows up or why his face glow bright red with just a small skin to skin contact from him or why he's always excited to see him.

Him being (m/n).

It always happens only around (m/n) and liang never knew why.

"Kaay I'm done!" Liang quickly got cut off from his trance when the quite girly voice of (m/n) filled his ears.

Flustered for some reason, he examined the boy's writing and it's surprisingly quite neat for someone who'd just learned Chinese.

"Great job." He complimented but seem to have something else to say.

(M/n) noticed this and worriedly looked at his friend.
"Is something bothering you? You seem to be...mhh...what's the word... Contemplating?"

"....You don't know all the words yet, right?" He finnaly asked. It was a weird question but (m/n) didn't think anything of it.

"Nope. There's still a few I don't quite get yet but somehow I understand some when put with another words!" He cheerfully replied and once again, a blush found its way to Liang's cheeks just by looking at the smaller male's heart throbbing smile.

"Good. I can say this then." That confused (m/n), he was a bit scared that it might be some chinese insult he doesn't know yet.

"Wǒ ài nǐ."

Those words he never dared to say in English, came out of his mouth but thankfully in a language that (m/n) half understood.

Liang just hopes that he doesn't know what 'Ài' means.

The smile (m/n) wore after liang said those words was rather confusing. It has a mixture of different emotions poured into that one bright smile and Liang being the clueless man he is, couldn't read (m/n)'s expression.

But he soon came to understand why after the same but also different words he once said, rolled out of (m/n)'s tongue.

"I love you too~"
