Sonic X (Various! x Reader)

In the living room, Chris ran in holding two black small devices towards Y/N and Sonic who are sitting on the couch watching Lilo and Stitch movie.

"Hey Sonic, Y/N, I got you each an I-Phone! This is gonna make things a lot easier."

Sonic and Y/N each took the I-Phone from Chris' hand.

"Oh, really?" he asked.

"Yeah, don't you see? Now we'll be able to reach each other right away, for when you're out on a run! We can talk anywhere now. No sweat!" Chris said and winked. "Now make sure you leave it on."

"Thanks, Chris." Y/N said, liking this new device while Sonic wasn't that interested.

"Hey, Chris, Y/N, it's time to get going!"

Tails and Amy enter the room. They look impatient.

"We've been waiting outside for you two."

"Oops, I forgot."

"Oh, sorry."

"Where are you guys going?" Sonic asked.

"Now that we can go out in public, we're heading to Station Square to go shopping! We've spent weeks hunting down Chaos Emeralds, but now it's time to do some bargain hunting. So I'm gonna shop 'til I drop!" Amy then scowled at Sonic. "There's no point in waiting for you to take me 'cause I don't even know where you are most of the time."

She becomes delighted when she sees the I-Phone in Sonic's hand.

"We can stay connected all the time!"

"No thanks."

He drops the cell phone into Amy's hand before dashing out the door.

"Wait, Sonic! What about your cell phone?" Chris called.

Sonic pops back only to say...

"Oh, leave a message for me! And take care of my sister, Tails."

...before leaving again.

"I guess he wants to be left alone." Tails sighed. "Wait, what did he mean by taking care of you, Y/N?"

"Beats me." she shrugs.

"But why can't he be left alone with me?!" Amy asked feeling frustrated.

Ella is driving the limousine, with Chris in the passenger's seat. Y/N, Tails, Amy, Cream, and Cheese are sitting around a table in the back with beverages.

"I don't understand why Sonic doesn't want me calling him."

"Unfortunately, Sonic is the kind of guy who needs lots of privacy." Amy replied for Chris.

"Yep." Y/N nodded.

"But what do we do if there's an emergency? Without a phone, we don't have a way to reach him."

"Don't wory, Chris. No matter where Sonic is, he has a way of showing up when he has to." Tails assured.

"Are you sure?"

"Count on it!" Y/N, Tails, Amy, and Cream said with thumbs up.

"Chao-chao!" Cheese said.

Chris smiles. The limo nears its final destination: the Station Square Shopping Center. The mall is packed. Ella holds up a new outfit for Cream, while Cheese bounces on a pile of folded shirts. Amy is trying on different outfits in the fitting room, but stops when she notices everyone staring at her. All but one of the shoppers flee. Amy is disappointed. Y/N is at Hot Topic as she checked out the gothic clothes, plushies, accessories, and more that are very interesting. She ignored those surprised stares from the people as she found a cool black faux leather removable hood studded vest and tried it on. She looked at herself in the mirror.
