I know I'm dreaming since I'm carefree, and walking alongside Jerod and Clarissa. We're walking through a abyss, both sides of the huge land walls almost meeting together above us. Through the crack in between the sides of the walls that are made of black soil and sand, I see a blazing sun. I shade my eyes with my hand and walk beside Jerod and Clarissa, who is in her tiger body. Her dark grey coat shines in the sun as she takes huge strides, Jerod struggling a bit to keep up. Her glossy grey fur moves with the bright white stripes across her back, her tiger muscles easily visible.

She moves gracefully and calmly as she somehow communicates with Jerod, and I just walk silently behind them. I look at the two of them, thankful Jerod gets to talk to her, unlike myself, because I can't understand her growls like my brother. I somehow know in my dream that Jerod is with Clarissa in real life, and I find more likeness for the Triger. I'm grateful she can be with Jerod so he's not all alone, even just after he got back together with his wack family.

"Wake up Amethyst!!" Jerod suddenly has his arm around me in a crushing grip, and it seems like the entire weight of his body is on me. I grunt and then flip the weight before I hear him growl lowly, "What are you doing?"

My dream fades from my mind, and I groggily open my eyes. They fly open wider as I look directly down into Dagon's questioning brown eyes. The flecks of white and blue are dim as he looks up at me, and I see pure confusion in his eyes as I feel his rock solid abs pressed up against mine. I can feel his pec muscles against my chest, and his arm that is chained to mine is sandwiched in between us.

"I'm sorry." I say, completely flustered, before rolling off of him and onto my side. I face away from him as my face goes downright maroon, and I try to forget my body's tingling sensations as I focus on getting ready for the day.

"Why did you roll onto me?" Dagon hisses in my ear as I move my wings to make a wall in between us, and I reply, "It was part of the dream I was having. Besides, you told me not to try anything last night, and I wouldn't."

"I doubt that. You're quite rebellious." Dagon snickers before I ask to change the topic, "Aren't Slytherins supposed to be nocturnal?"

"They were, but when I turned you into our kind, I was tired during the night, and slept then. I made everyone change their sleeping routine so I could still rule them well." Dagon replies before I sit up, rubbing my eyes.

I put my wings aside and then ask, "How long were you awake for before I was?"

"Not very long. Maybe ten minutes." Dagon growls before getting off of the bed, pulling me alongside him. I find my footing and then follow him out to the great hall, just as Carlley walks straight in front of us. She crunches my foot with hers, and then looks up at us in surprise.

"You're a full Slytherin now, aren't you?" She halts in front of us, and I glance at Dagon to see him scowling at her human form. I look back to her and then reply lowly, "Yes, and I've come to find they have quite a few advantages over the human body."

"Do you even hear yourself? You were cursing their nature for all you were worth when you were here and you almost strangled Dagon to death when you were an anaconda." Carlley puts her hands on her thin hips and blocks our way as Dagon snorts and barks, "We get it, you moron. We both hate each other, you hate Amethyst, she hates you. There's plenty of hate going around, so get used to it."

Carlley, for the first time, shrinks back. She looks like a wilted flower or a scared dog that has it's tail between it's legs, and she says, "Well, I'm off now. Jericho is taking me away."

"Well, go then." I nod to the entrance with my head, and she scrambles away before Dagon lets out a wicked laugh. We resume our walk, and I ask as we sit at the table, "What was the laugh for?"
